In the run-up to the May NATO Summit in Chicago, a concert at a Chicago high school on Thursday, featuring music from Afghanistan.

NATO Host Committee's Executive Director Lori Healey for a classroom-to-classroom concert between Thomas Kelly High School and Afghanistan National Institute of Music (ANIM).

DATE: Thursday, April 26th

TIME: 9:30 a.m.

LOCATION: 4136 S. California

Also attending will be Amb. Kolinda Grabar (Asst. Secretary General of NATO for Public Diplomacy), Dr. Ahmad Sarmast (Director of ANIM) and students at Kelly

The purpose of the concert is to reinforce the value of being a global citizen to our CPS students, and give our students an opportunity to learn about a culture and a people different than their own.
