Now that the Pitchfork lineup is set and Lollapalooza has announced its list of performers, the third annual North Coast Festival fires round one of its electronic/jam/hip-hop marquee.
The summer-ending, three-day music festival in Chicago's Union Park, Aug. 31-Sept. 2, will feature Pretty Lights, Axwell (from Swedish House Mafia), Atmosphere and Big Boi.
Other acts announced today include Steve Aoki, Excision, the Rapture, Alesso, Modestep, Mord Fustang, Felix da Housecat, YACHT, Dan Deacon, King Khan & the Shrines, the Rebirth Brass Band, Van Ghost, Maya Jane Coles, Com Truise and Auto Body.
More headliners and support acts will be announced later.
Three-day passes are available at two price levels: general admission for $110, VIP for $350. The latter gets you access to a VIP lounge with reserved viewing areas at the main stages and other services (the catch: 21 and over). Buy at clubtix.com/northcoastfest.
A portion of proceeds benefits the International Latino Cultural Center of Chicago.
