Coldplay today announced its first North American tour in three years, trekking across the continent next summer -- including a penultimate stop Aug. 7 at Chicago's United Center.
Chicagoans last saw the British pop band in August headlining Lollapalooza, and the band's accessible new album, "Mylo Xyloto," trotted out in October.
Tickets for the United Center show will go on sale at 5 p.m. Dec. 19 via the venue box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, ticketmaster.com and by calling (800) 745-3000.
