Buddy Guy annual residency begins Jan. 5

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

Buddy Guy returns home for his annual residency at his own South Loop club beginning Jan. 5.

The blues guitar legend will be at Legend's for 16 shows, each Thursday-Sunday through Jan. 29. Each Saturday show is already sold out.

Opening acts include Guy King, Brother John and Billy Branch.

Still a fiery player at age 75, Guy is a six-time Grammy winner and a hard-working musician.

His 2012 is well-booked. After his annual Chicago residency he's back on the festival and touring circuit, joining the Experience Hendrix tribute tour (with Dweezil Zappa, Billy Cox, Robert Randolph and others) in March before connecting with Jonny Lang for an Australian tour later in the spring.
