The revolving Wilco show: Pick your venue!

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

If you're keeping score at home: Wilco is now playing four different Chicago venues one week in December.

Weeks ago, the hometown band announced a special Dec. 12 gig at the Civic Opera House. After it sold out quickly, they added a second gig -- at a second venue. Then a third gig, third venue. Today, they've added show No. 4, venue No. 4.

To recap your Wilco viewing options:

  • Dec. 12 @ Civic Opera House (sold out)

  • Dec. 13 @ Riviera Theatre (sold out)

  • Dec. 15 @ Vic Theatre (sold out)

  • Dec. 16 @ Metro

Tickets for the Metro show go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday via etix.com. They're $44.

Any wagers on venue No. 5?

Wilco is supporting its eighth album, the finely crafted "The Whole Love." The album is availalable most places, but if you purchase it at area Garrett's popcorn shops (?!) part of the purchase supports the Jane Adams Hull House Association.
