The three prosecutors in the Family Secrets trial have nabbed a top national award from the U.S. Department of Justice.
The lead prosecutor in the case, the late Mitchell Mars, along with his fellow prosecutors on the case, John Scully, who is now retired from the U.S. attorney's office after an illustrious, and ace mob fighter Markus Funk are to receive the John Marshall Award, named after the fourth justice of the U.S. Supreme Court.
The prestigious award will be presented later this month in Washington, D.C., and recognizes outstanding professional achievement.
