First witnesses
A quick recap
Witnesses on June 25, 2007
1. James Wagner, a former top FBI mob fighter and the government's first witness, gives the jury an overview of the Chicago mob's structure and how it makes its money. On cross, Wagner acknowledges that sometimes informants in mob cases lie.
2. Robert Pinta, former IRS Special Agent, tells how he took part in a raid on the home of a mob boss in 1980 and recovered the now infamous Last Supper photograph, featuring top reputed Chicago mobsters at a restaurant in the mid-1970s. Included in the group photo is Joseph Lombardo standing in back, wearing a suit.
3. William "Red" Wemette, former porn shop operator, who testifies how he got shaken down to be allowed to operate his business in Old Town. Wemette alleges Lombardo set up the street tax payments and had underlings collect it.

Can you supply the name where the last supper photo was recovered? Bet his boss wasn't happy.
WARMBIR RESPONDS:
The Last Supper photo was recovered during an IRS raid of the Lincolnwood home of Rush Street rackets boss Joseph DiVarco.
It was found in the dresser drawer of a bedroom.
I bet you're right that the bosses were none too pleased.

Red Wemette is alledged to have told the FBI about the Peterson/Schuessler murders years before any charges were brought?
Common human dignity should always come first before protecting informants. We should be asking the FBI if it is really worth making a case against some crap *** outfit guy that now will not even stand trial (Schweihs) This over the murder of two kids? When will they FBI and justice department ever get it?
