Megan Glaros to handle weather for WBBM-Channel 2's new early morning news show

The new early morning news show under development at WBBM-Channel 2 will feature Megan Glaros as meteorologist. The Dyer, Ind. native comes to WBBM directly from WCBS-TV in New York, where she was the station's weekend meteorologist and entertainment reporter. Glaros also may do some entertainment reporting for WBBM's early morning show.

At WCBS, Glaros also worked with Steve Bartelstein, who is returning to his native Chicago from New York to anchor WBBM's new early morning news show that will debut Aug. 30. Bartelstein resigned from WCBS in early 2009.

Sources said Glaros was interested in the WBBM early morning news weather job because she wanted to return to the Chicago area. Glaros graduated from Indiana University, where she studied journalism and atmospheric sciences.

WBBM's new early morning show replaces "Monsters & Money in the Morning," which suffered from low ratings and lasted only seven months. The "Monsters" round-table show featured talk about finance, sports and other news of the day and had four co-hosts: Sun-Times financial columnist Terry Savage, Mike Hegedus, Dan Jiggetts and Mike North.

WHATS UP CHICAGO YOU ARE STEALING ALL OF GREAT PEOPLE I WISH MEGAN & STEVE NOTHING BUT THE BEST I JUST WISH WE COULD GET THE CBS AFFILIATE IN NEW YORK CITY

Will miss her

You have lost two of the best with Kate Sullivan and Megan Glaros. Too bad, I am gone to ABC in the mornings and on weekends.

we knew you well though it is probably better that you moved to chicago for your job switch though good luck with it and riverside station ad at cbs2 will hopefully work with andy ronney and the transatlantic with 60 minutes.

ugh! Megan is absolutely sickening with her constant smiling. Even severe weather conditions make her smile. Tornadoes, hurricanes etc.
Also she's dressed like she's going clubbing instead of going to work.
Yep, she's an attractive woman but she needs to get over herself.
Had to change to switch to ABC after all the years of watching CBS.

Actually I would like to thank New York for Megan! Because of her, I switched to CBS. Yep, waking up in the morning just got a bit easier.

Kathy....women are just jealous when they see another women do a good job...she does not dress to show off her pretty body...she was a cheerleader for the Colts and a model while going to college....she's married and had a baby girl Feb 10th 2010 and she still looks great,,,she's very good looking and you can tell she has a good personality which you can't stand to admit ...I'm glad to see her here in Chicago and will watch her all the time like 1000's of other men who like to see a nice looking professional women

MAGAN IS THE WORSE WEATHER PERSON. YOUR STATION HAS EVER HAD . SHE LOOKS LIKE SHE IS DRESSED TO GO OUT FOR THE EVENING. I HAD TO CHANGE TO CHANNEL 7.
