She may have the most devoted fan base in all of Chicago broadcasting, and now all of former radio host Melissa Forman's followers can rejoice that she will be filling in for the next month for Jeanne Sparrow as host of WCIU-Channel 26's innovative morning show "You & Me This Morning." Sparrow is taking a short-term medical leave of absence and expects to return to the show in late March. Forman had previously done two stints as a host on Clear Channel Radio Chicago's WLIT-FM (93.9). Her contract was not renewed last summer. "Melissa has deep roots in chicago and will do a great job hosting 'You & Me This Morning' while I'm gone," said Sparrow.

MELISSA FORMAN IS ONE OF THE MOST GRACIOUS AND CHARMING WOMEN TO BLESS OUR CITY. I AM HONORED TO BE HER FRIEND, AND AM DELIGHTED SHE WILL BE ON THE AIR AGAIN. IN THE OFTEN VILLIFYING POLITICAL WORLD WE FIND OURSELVES IN IT IS AMAZING TO FIND A PERSON WHO RISES ABOVE IT ALL AND REFUSES TO SAY ANYTHING BAD ABOUT OTHERS. I KNOW HER SINCERITY AND GOOD KARMA WILL HOLD HER IN GOOD STEAD, AND THAT THE PERFECT PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT, WHERE SHE WILL BE APPRECIATED, IS ON THE WAY.

No one seems to mention the fact that Jeanne Sparrow is nice and bright as well. I was about to really feel bad, thinking she would not return. Glad she's coming back! I do like Melissa as well but it's Jeanne's show and she's been in radio a long time.
I have loved jeanne since I have been able to understand radió and television in chicago,she is such a warm and gracious woman. I must say that I had no interest in the show while she was on leave,nothing personal to her fill in I just associate her with the show and the show is her. I wish her all the good that she is yet to endure. I am so excited to find out we are both from the same home town,my southern sista. Love u girl....
Jeanne and Melissa make an excellent team..it is a pleasure to start the day with the both of them talking and laughing which sounds so sincere. Keep them together, they are great.
Today on the show Jeanne told someon to SHUT UP. I was really bothered by that. Melissas bad nose job really bothers me. Its a nice show but after today it just went too far for me. Wont be watching anymore.
Am I crazy or not? Does Melissa Forman work at both WCIU and 101.9 the mix? I've looked at the pictures and the only difference is the color of her hair. Can anyone verify this? Melissa on the radio is expecting as of November 2010 but the Melissa on tv doesn't look like it. Are these two different females? Thanks!!
