Nationally-syndicated radio talk show host Glenn Beck will be heard in Chicago on news/talk WIND-AM (560) beginning Jan. 4, 2010. The Beck show will air from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. With the addition of Beck to the WIND line-up, Dennis Miller will move to the 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. timeslot. "It's a great opportunity for us to strategically position Dennis Miller in a day part that makes us more competitive in the market while adding to and maintaining our stellar roster of talk show hosts," said WIND general manager Dave Santrella. Owned and operated by Salem Communications Corp., WIND targets audiences interested in Christian and family-themed content and conservative values.

THANK YOU FOR NOT DROPPING DENNIS MILLER . I HAVE NEVER ENJOYED MY MORNINGS MORE. HOWEVER THO I RESPECT GLENN BECK VERY MUCH IT IS TOO EARLY IN THE MORNING FOR ME TO HEAR SUCH VERY SERIOUS AND DEPRESSING NEWS. THAT IS WHY I LOVED DENNIS SHOW AT THAT TIME. MORNING GETS YOU READY FOR THE DAY AND ITS CHALLENGES.. AFTERNOON IS MORE CONDUSCENT TO SERIOUS MATTERS THAT DONT STRESS YOU AS MUCH.. I THINK GLENNS RADIO SHOW WOULD BE MUCH MORE APPRECIATED FROM 12-3. IN PLACE OF MIKE GALLAGHER WHO IS MUCH MORE FRAUSTRATING AND OPINIONATED THAN IS SUBJECT WORTHY..
THANK YOU FOR LISTENING..
WIND should leave Dennis Miller in the 9 to Noon slot while he is live because he gets many great calls from Chicago. WIND will otherwise lose listeners who will listen to Dennis live via the internet, like me. Mike Gallagher is not nearly as entertaining or easy to listen to. Beck would be better head-to-head competition with Rush Limbaugh noon to 2pm.
Glen Beck is a necessary component to the news of the day however can someone please tell him and his co partner to stop SHOUTING over each other when disputing or commenting. its quite annoying and we cannot understand a word of what they are saying otherwise we may just have to tune into 890 am for news that dont irritate the sences like they do...
Dennis Miller has our highest regard.. He and Sal have a mutual respect for each other and the way that they allow each other to have their moment to comment.. would rather have Dennis in the morning and Glenn in the afternoon.. seems like temperments are better received that way .
I did not know that Dennis Miller was on during that time slot. If I had only known I wouldn't have had to suffer through ManCow. I welcome Beck but am sorry I missed out on Dennis Miller.
Way to go Glenn! America needs you now more than ever! I never miss your TV program The Glenn Beck Show on Fox Cable. I have set it to auto record!
God bless you for all the good you do for our country. GOD BLESS YOU! GOD BLESS AMERICA!
I tuned in for the first time today and 5 minutes after listening to the Glenn Beck Show, I could do without his co-hosts. They are quite annoying and his show is nothing like his tv program. Maybe I just caught a bad day and a bad first 15 minutes of the show this day???
Beck does good work however he would be much more credible if he dropped the sarcasm and silly stuff.
Guys like him and Rush give Conservatives a bad name.
Glenn! You are so right. I was born and raised a Catholic and I thank God every day for my gift of Faith. Many years ago I had 5 children and now, my youngest son is just your age. My 4 sons are in Texas and Kansas and my daughter is in Ohio. They have l4 children and my oldest Granddaughter and her husband both work for Habitat for Humanity in Americus, GA. My husband died 23 years ago and I worked until I was 72 years old and am now 75 and enjoying my retirement. I do give about 10 percent to Charity; 5% to church and 5% to other charities such as The Salvation Army, Catholic Charities,Feed the Children, USO and others. Every year , the end of Jan. I drive South to Georgia, Florida, Texas, Kansas, Ohio , Arkansas and put over 5000 miles on my 2000 Grand Caravan which has about 123,000 miles now and I intend to get at least 160,000 out of it as I have kept it in very good shape. I hear your radio show every morning and have watched all of your 4p.m. shows. I don't know how to get tickets for Sept. 18th. I've tried!! Can you HELP??Thank you very much!! Ann S. Coens
