Carol Marin is a respected and unbiased reporter that deserves more repect. kmchicago you sound like the leftist. I'm sorry Chris Kelly died and my sympathy to his family. I'm also sorry he is not going to be here to testify about the former Gov because I still believe a person is innocent until proven guilty. But then of course I guess I'm one of those leftist you speak about. Carol keep up the good work, I don't always agree with you but I defend your right to say it.

If you had actually read her columns on Kelly you would know that Carol Marin never put a "positive spin" on Chris Kelly but instead fully documented his legal difficulties. All she is asking is how a man who had so much going for him chose to take the path he did. Of course to you I suppose anyone who is articulate and shows any semblance of compassion must be an "unapologetic leftist." If only you had a clue what you were talking about.
