Weekend begins with shootings citywide

Shootings throughout the city have hospitalized at least 10 people late Friday through early Saturday. None of the victims, as of early Saturday, however, appeared to have been seriously wounded. Just before 10 p.m. Friday, a 17-year-old man was in the 400 block of North Laramie Avenue when two men, believed to be 19 and 20 years old, approached him and fired shots, police said.
