AT Home Debuts

Here's the announcement

New section helps you bring it all home

July 12, 2007
Readers of the Chicago Sun-Times Friday will find a new weekly section that will keep them ahead of trends in home decorating, remodeling and home furnishing.

The new At Home section, tucked inside the regular Real Estate/Homelife section, will cover the art of transforming your Chicago place into a personal refuge inside, outside and around the block.

It debuts Friday.

And it's edited specifically for Chicagoans.

At Home is also the place to find GreenHouse, a full page of useful, hands-on gardening information delightfully delivered by Sun-Times staffer and Master Gardener Susan Randstrom.

You can also tour a Patch of Green with Leslie Baldacci, as she visits lovely spaces public and private, inside and out that celebrate the natural beauty that Chicagoans hold so dear.

In subsequent weeks, At Home will provide readers with a place to show off their own unique home designs, or highlight a clever kitchen remodeling that's the envy of neighbors.

Also in the mix: a housewalk that gives your block bragging rights?

"Real estate is making headlines these days, but our homes are the perennial headliners in our everyday lives," said Sally Duros, real estate editor. "We invite readers to make some beautful news with us in At Home."
