Divining new places

Today I interview Jon DeVries, Director of the Mrashall Bennett Institute for Real Estate Studies at Roosevelt University in The Right Place. As a consultant to the building industry, DeVries has been a player in building our regional economy.

DeVries is most excited these days about a new initiative to encourage women leaders in Real Estate called The Goldie B. Wolfe Miller: WOMEN LEADERS IN REAL ESTATE INITIATIVE. The initiative is a response to a study by CREW that found the glass ceiling in real estate was as impermeable as in other industries. Ten women -starting out or mid-career - each year will receive stipends, special counseling and mentoring from women leaders in real estate at Roosevelt's real estate school. You can learn more about it
here.
