Great Chicago Places and Spaces

I went to a kick-off lecture last night as part of the Great Chicago Places and Spaces event happening all over the city this weekend. The topic was innovation in social housing and the panelists were Rick Lowe, Raul Raymundo and Curtis Lawrence. If you are interested in how architecture makes places and how spaces make community and and how it all combines to make a great place to live, you definitely want to DO some of these events this weekend. The website is www.greatchicagoplaces.us or you can get there from here.
