Anyone who watched
the Masters no doubt noticed champion Bubba Watson's pink PING driver.
Initially, there were reports that PING wouldn't be releasing the driver with a distinctive pink head. But, a representative at Golf Galaxy told the Sun-Times that they will be among the retailers pre-selling it.
The cost is $399, and it's expected to ship in June. You can pre-order by clicking here.
It's hard not to notice that PING did well at the Masters; Louis Oosthuizen, who lost in a sudden death playoff to Watson, also plays PINGs.
The pink is Watson's tribute to his father Gerry, who died of lung cancer in October 2010. He's set a goal of raising $1 million for charities this year, and PING donates $300 for every drive Watson hits over 300 yards. To date, PING has pledged over $60,000.
