Pre-sale of Bubba's pink PING driver available

Anyone who watched the Masters no doubt noticed champion Bubba Watson's pink PING driver.

Initially, there were reports that PING wouldn't be releasing the driver with a distinctive pink head. But, a representative at Golf Galaxy told the Sun-Times that they will be among the retailers pre-selling it.

The cost is $399, and it's expected to ship in June. You can pre-order by clicking here

It's hard not to notice that PING did well at the Masters; Louis Oosthuizen, who lost in a sudden death playoff to Watson, also plays PINGs.

The pink is Watson's tribute to his father Gerry, who died of lung cancer in October 2010. He's set a goal of raising $1 million for charities this year, and PING donates $300 for every drive Watson hits over 300 yards. To date, PING has pledged over $60,000.
