Ok, nobody saw this type of success from Carlos Quentin. I don't blame MLB for not putting him on the All-Star ballot, but Jerry Owens?

Last night’s 3-1 loss to the Angels broke the White Sox's eight game winning streak. Even so, the Sox hold the second biggest division lead in the majors at 2.5 games. While the season is still young, few people expected the Sox to compete in the mighty AL Central this year. So far, so good. But can they keep it up?

Anybody else looking forward to the Crosstown Classic June 20? That's going to be fun. Joe Cowley had an interesting observation in his story about how this year's Sox are similar to last year's - at least by the numbers.

Congrats to Gavin Floyd for throwing a gem of a game, and also for deflecting attention from 'Dollgate.' The Sox needed it.

First of all, the Sox want to point out that Ozzie Guillen's rant Sunday was done before his team's fifth straight loss, not after. Duly noted. But as much as I've enjoyed Ozzie's candor over the years, his words and actions Sunday were contradictory.

I salute those White Sox fans who braved hours of the worst-case scenario for a baseball game Monday at U.S. Cellular Field.
