Charlie Villanueva - is not at home at times. I mean some one is in the house but no one answers the door bell. I think Charlie entered his name into the draft 4 straight years! I was cracking up!! He has no business in cyberspace during a game, but one might say he's always in cyberspace.

Shaq tore up that Allstar game! He can do no wrong.

What can you say about a man-child? He probably thought he was back in a junior high school locker room while sneaking and twittering with the coach exhorting the team to play better.

What about the Bulls play last night?

I could listen to whatever Shaq says whenever he says it. I'm 36 and Shaq is a great symbol of my Hip-Hop generation. Now the fact that two Bucks are on this list is surprising. I didnt know Skiles allowed his players to enjoy anything fun, like basketball.

We have it so that all the agents on my Real Estate team have twitter accounts, and then we pull all their tweets into the homepage of the team website under the banner "Agents in the Field"

and basically, when clients look at my websites, they see this running stream of Team Tweets that are from Active Agents in the field...and they are like Dammmnnn...I wannna work with these guys, they are BUSY!!!

Shaq tweets are great.

The other day he said first person to find me and touch me gets free tickets...and 100 people rushed some restaurant to touch him.

Imagine being there for that....

He does that with Box office tickets too...

Run, push and shove each to the ground and I may let you touch me for a moment?

No thanks.
Why swallow your pride and dignity to kiss the bloated rump of some spoiled clown for a couple of basketball tickets?

Did you have a point here old man?

I wrote a Movie Short 1o years ago...about a time when everyone had their own 24/7 TV Channel. And your Class in society wasnt determined by Money or Color or Looks...it was determined by ..

HOW MANY VIEWERS YOU HAD.

and so society...naturally evolved into two groups..

DOERS

&

WATCHERS....

*Are we there yet????

Phiiiiiiiiil, lighten up friend. Shaq is just a big kid that is just having fun and blessing someone at the same time. Now it would be different if he was on TV asking someone to eat worms - like most of these tv shows do. Or how about out government that wants you to pick up a GUN and Kill to get a decent education? In a world where you have to have a boat load of money to even be in the same area as some of these guys, here is one guy - tweeting with folks and sharing his wealth and having fun. How can you hate on that? And Shaq is rich and doesn't have to, but chooses to be a NICE guy. Shouldn't that be celebrated?

Because he is a attention whore Keith.
That is why he has been running his mouth all season.
There are new stars in the league now and on top of that he is afraid that Kobe is going to win a title this year.

Look at me!
Look at me!
Look at me!

Phil I am cracking UPPP!!! But I will give you that, but Shaq has been like that his entire career. Shaq is harmless. A harmless ham. Now there are some media whores that really know how to use those cameras - and they are extremely harmful.

And Kobe will win if Labron or Pierce/KG/Allen does not stop him, and it doesn't look like KG is up to it. Still have to play the games, but its should be a wrap for Kobe. But its Kobe, so it would surprise me if they went out in the first round.

"Or how about out government that wants you to pick up a GUN and Kill to get a decent education?"

uhhhhh....what?

Agreed Keith..

Shaq dizzle doesnt have to do this, but he does.

Its the rare super celeb that lowers themselves into our commoner world. It should be celebrated..not dissed.

Tommy, I admit it was a stretch, but one shouldnt have to shoot his/her way to a decent education. But out government dangles that carrot out there to kids who just want to go to school. I think that is wrong. Government is like a drug dealer that offers a wadd of cash for delivering a "package".

Yeah, Shaq is not a bad guy. Just in need of a lot of attention.
When the spot light is not on him then he starts bad mouthing other players and coaches and it works. He has done that all season.

You are an elder statesman of the game and one of the all time greatest players in NBA history. Why act the fool when you are no longer 22 years old?
The same thing with that stupid dance routine at the All Star game.
He got the press that he wanted.

Can you imagine Jordan, Bird, Magic, West, Dr. J, Wilt or Kareem doing that?

Keith - I must admit...I have no idea what you're talking about.

How do education and shooting go together...and how do they relate to sports?

Phil...you must be a short guy.

If you were a tall guy...you would know...that Tall Guys dont look for attention. Attention Finds you!

Tommie - I stretched it, but I was talking about how people try and ASK you to do something crazy all the time. Shaq was asking people to just touch him for free tickets. I thought it was just a fun experiment. All they had to do was touch him for a reward. NOW our government knows how important and expensive an education is to the POOR. And instead of helping them get it, they ask them to join the ARMY for it. I feel that is a shameless exploitation. I believe that if you have the money to bless people - do it - and count on your higher morals and ethics to be the thing that makes ALL Americans VOLUNTEER to fight for their government. There are people that EXPLOIT is what I was talking about. Shaq - a sports figure was asking people to do something - but NOT exploiting them like other do IMHO.

Phil, I understand how you feel. You are probably a serious person. I just love someone that likes to laugh. I feel Shaq is just another gregarious spirit. The kind of person that keeps things light. I don't think he is trying to make a buck or steal the show from anyone. I think he's sincere. I think he is the kind of person that would start dancing as soon as the music came on. But I could be wrong.

culz...

I am 6 feet tall which is neither tall or short in my book (unless you are in the NBA) but what does that have to do with Shaq acting like a clown in his late 30s?

He may be tall but he acts like an 18 year old.

"Tall Guys dont look for attention. Attention Finds you!"

For as many Napoleon complexes there are out there, there are every bit as many Goliath ones - you know the "I'm tall so I can act obnoxious in a bar" complex.

5'11" here...I fall closer to the Napoleon side I guess, but used to work in a bar years ago. Not many 5'9" trouble makers out there...unless of course they're drunk.

You must understand, Shaq is an entertainer. He loves the spotlight and doesn't want to lose it. While I wish he would shut up sometimes, I must admit, Twitter is one of the best things to happen to him. Why? Because he rarely talks about basketball on his twitter page. This keeps fans entertained and allows them to connect with Shaq in a meaningful way (other than just a love for basketball). Fans can draw similarities to their lives, thoughts, and day to day activities.

Actually, you don't have to be on Twitter to follow the athletes posting there. Check www.AthleteTweets.com for a compilation of all the athletes and coaches who Twitter and a live feed of their posts.
