Michael Jordan had another championship to celebrate Saturday, and it probably felt better than any of the six he won with the Bulls.

Jordan's son Marcus scored a game-high 19 to lead Whitney Young to the Class 4A championship.

Jordan was brought to tears by his son's performance.

"Crying?" MJ said. "I'm not crying. Not for me, anyway."

Jordan deserves to cry, if it were you would you not?????

Awesome...

Jordan was crying because he bet a grip on his son!!! Juss Jivin...juuuuuusss jivin!

He is a proud dad, and I am glad MJ is leading the way with his sons. That's worth more than anything he ever did. I bet you Mike would put his son's trophy in front of ALL 6 Bulls trophies!!! NOW that's a role model - a PARENT. All the folks who wore his jerseys and gym shoes can finally learn something else of truer substance about the man. Now he is a winner off the court as well as on.

Good for Marcus...He is a great kid!

He doesn't look like he's crying in the picture to me. You sure he wasn't yelling at his son for missing a shot?

Roman responds: It was an old picture. The one I posted now is from Friday.

His crying illustration that a man's glory goes beyond his own personal achievement.

He is doing what any proud father, brother, uncle, grandparent and family member hes being human! If you have kids you know what I mean!

In response to the second comment, from Keith,
He's always been a good upstanding role model. on and off the court.

Kevin - you will not find a greater MJ fan than I. But there are very few people that would disagree with me on Mike's personal life. But Mike has made great strides in that area like how he has taken such great interest in his kids lives, so I applaud him. But that "always" is a big word, and probably just the sentiments of a good fan.

Im with Keith...I too am the biggest MJ fan, but he has had his indiscretions. Did anyone ever figure out who killed his father on the side of the road?
