I hope Tom Waddle's dream doesn't portend the next radio stunt, because the former Bears receiver and co-host of the "Waddle & Silvy" show on ESPN 1000 would be in even worse shape than Harry Teinowitz if he acts out his nightmare.
Waddle said he had a dream the other day that he was going to fight UFC star Wanderlei "The Axe Murderer" Silva in the Octagon.
Marc Silverman astutely put Waddle on his amateur psychiatrist couch and diagnosed it as being a work-stress dream. The reasoning being that Waddle would be encouraged into a Harry-type stunt.
Waddle laughs at how his short-term memory is shot after six years of taking hits over the middle in the NFL.
As Waddle - who is a UFC fan - knows, concussions aren't exclusive to the NFL. Waddle seems to understand it would serve him best to keep the Silva fight confined to dream land.
But maybe Harry would be interested ...
Waddle better listen to Harry! Slurs and all!! Harry thinks the Cubs won the world series!!!
I don't know what is wrong with media folks. That being said, I am rooting for Waddle. LOL!
