Dwyane Wade took the next shot in his messy divorce as he filed a libel suit today against his estranged wife for claiming he committed adultery and had given her a sexually transmitted disease.

This is from Sun-Times courts reporter Mark Konkol:

Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade filed a libel lawsuit Wednesday against his estranged wife and her attorneys for falsely claiming in a divorce filing that Wade committed adultery and gave her a sexually transmitted disease.

Wade, a Chicago native, claims Siohvaughn Wade damaged his reputation by knowingly making those false claims, which became public in media reports only to be later withdrawn from their divorce filing, according to documents filed in Cook County Circuit Court. Wade is seeking more than $200,000 in damages.

What is up with the Band Aid?

That is the Second Cheeziest thing I have ever seen....almost as bad as the Samuari Poney Tail!

That right WADE! File! File! File! I hope he wins! People think they can treat you any kind of way they want. I think he has children with her. Protect your name if its a good one. Thats all you have.

Spent many a hotel night in Detroit - same Marriott as visiting NBA teams. Girls, girls, girls....unreal!

Carl are you saying Wade is guilty? It wouldn't surprise me. I just hope he is not. I didn't like this story at all because I want Wade to come home and take the Bulls to the finals. She is in the way of my hoop dream. He has been a good guy for the most part, so I am giving him the benefit of the doubt, but as long as he is a human being there is a chance to make a mistake.

Oh and the bandaide is covering 6 stitches he got from a gash in the face during practice. Cut him a lil slack.

OK OK...ill cut him some slackage on the band aid...

but I wont cut you any slack Keith, on your boyhood naivete....

Carl is right...
