Baseball Prospectus has some good news and bad news for Chicago baseball fans.
The good news is for Cubs fans as BP has the Cubs repeating with the best record in the National League.
The bad news is for fans of the White Sox, whom BP has finishing last in the AL Central.
Then again, last year Baseball Prospectus predicted the White Sox would finish behind the Tigers and Indians. Instead, the South Siders edged out the Twins in a play-in game after the regular season.
Last year, BP predicted the Cubs would win the NL Central.
So take it for what it's worth.

I'm sure this will have considerable impact on the Vegas betting line as far as the White Sox making the World Series is concerned.
I think those odds should be a bargain.

Looks like Lou got a Snuggie for Christmas while Ozzie tells him that the Cubs choked in the playoffs again.
This is no surprise with Crede, Uribe, Cabrera, Contra, & Vazquez down or out. As it stands now, the young guns either step up at 3B, CF, 2B, & 2 in the rotation or BP will be proven right. The offseason is not over yet & many FA's remain unsigned. Kenny's never been one to ignore a bargain & I think JR's given him a greenlight so there's still that possibility.
I can't remember the last time the Sox finished last in the ALC, so I'd say the odds against BP.
