Patrick Cote is a confident underdog

| | Comments (3)

Patrick Cote and over 430 UFC fans joined us for a chat today.

Cote said he's confident, and he'll need to be against Anderson "The Spider" Silva.

Cote has done some training with fellow-Canadian Georges St. Pierre, and said he's ready.

We may chat with Josh Koscheck on Friday. Koscheck will fight in the co-main event on UFC 90 on Oct. 25 at Allstate Arena.

Stay tuned.

What are the fans like at these matches? And what motivates these guys to fight like this? Is it true that MMA is based in eastern philosophies and in conquering fear?

Roman responds: Join the chat and ask.

Sweet I am there. I will get my philosophical questions together. Like are you scared s---less of The Spider?

That was really cool Roman. I don't think he has a chance against Silva, but you never know, I didn't think Serra had a chance to beat GSP either. I don't see anyone beating Silva standing his muy thai is too strong.. I know his BJJ is strong too but I believe that is where he will be beat, caught in a submission due to a mistake he makes. I think when Silva looses its a tap out not a knockout.
