The fact is now that the Sox are in, they can win this thing.
On Aug. 19 I predicted they would win the Division. On Sept. 5 after Carlos Quentin went down, I predicted they would hang on and win the Division. Not exactly going out on a limb, but glad they proved me right.
Now I'm predicting they get past Tampa Bay.

I am as tired as can be! Have no voice, and I am so proud of Jim Thome and Jr. for throwing out Cuddyer at the plate! AJ'ed again! Baseball gods have shined down on us - see they cheated us and then rubbed it in our faces! And that is what they get!
Plan is coming together! Cubs and Sox will take us to the election, where Obama/Biden will win, and then the Bulls will jump out to a 10 game lead and pass the torch to the Blackhawks, while the Bears make the playoffs! AJ was interviewed last night and was asked about a song for the team. He said they didn't have one and this was all I could think of. It stuck with me all night as I watched the interviews. And in light of the Boss singing in this years Superbowl, I think its appropriate:

It looked like the Sox were dead a few days ago but now all of that is out the window.
Yes they need to play better than the they played during the last month of the season in order to do any damage in the playoffs but they have been doing just that in their last three games so who knows?

Bubba's Mom - its called White-Sox-Feevah! And I have it bad! I will be honest. Sox winning the Central the way they did is all you can really ask from this team. Everything else is just icing on the cake. I am really enjoying the ride. We will find out in a a few hours if that emotional roller-coaster ending to the season carries over to the playoffs.
