NFL Films chief Steve Sabol was on "The Waddle and Silvy Show" this morning and was asked if he considered featuring the Bears on HBO's "Hard Knocks."
"I have had some preliminary discussions with Lovie and I would say he was not too enthusiastic about the idea," Sabol said.
Anybody surprised?
Wouldn't that be a great "Hard Knocks"?
What would be the most compelling part? The coin flip to decide which QB first got reps with the starters? Watching Lovie getting ticked at being asked about the quarterbacks? Rex's reaction to being on the second team? Watching Chris Williams deal with the back?
I don't know, maybe the rest of NFL Nation would find it boring, but I think it would be great. And I know it never would happen.
Man, that would be awesome to have Hard Knocks for Bears Training Camp.
Honestly, I think that there would be some interesting story lines...As far as Lovie Smith not being excited about it...I can see why, it would be a distraction for these Bears. Recent History shows that they can be distracted easily...
Let's see...
What would be more fun, watching paint dry or the Orton/Grossman minicamp QB challenge....
Any show with Lovie Smith as one of the main characters would put the audience to sleep before the first commercial break.
What happened to the Fantasy Draft Ricky???????
