What do you care less about? Cedric Benson missing the first OTA or tonight's Draft Lottery?
I'm more interested in the Lottery. If the Bulls get a top-3 pick, it's a big deal. Even No. 9 has produced some talent historically.
But I'm not sensing much interest. Have the Bulls fallen that far under the radar?
And no offense to Steve Schanwald, with whom I enjoy a good relationship, but why isn't Joakim Noah or Luol Deng in Secaucus? The Nets have Jay-Z; the Pacers have Larry Bird and the Bulls have their Exec. VP of Business Operations?
As far as Benson, I think it's a poor decision not to show up, but he's not making contract demands. For all we know, he was on his way but was pulled over by overzealous state troopers. Or maybe he's working out with Ricky Williams.
Brian Urlacher. That's the guy Bears fans should worry about this offseason.
And by the way, no way Jim Edmonds' catch was anywhere near as good as Reed Johnson's was.
I wonna know where Chris Duhon is going next year; that's what I'm thinking about. And those Texas police officers were probably Lions fans. Cedric needs to hook up with Dante. He'll show him how to really stir up some controversey.
We are still on that list thing, eh?
Okay, I care less about the following:
Whether Joakim Noah and Luol Deng are part of the Secaucus 7...
Whether Soriano bats first or elsewhere...
Whether Rex is shining his 21s with a Bears 8 or 32 jersey...
Whether dogs or horses are more beloved animals...
Whether Joanie loves Chachie or the other way around...
Whether David wins American Idol...
Whether Parcels likes Jason Taylor in tights or football pads...
Whether the World Series of Poker is really a "sport" or an excuse for former pimple infested, basement dwelling teens to say they are an athlete...
Whether BCulz is right or wrong or simply manic...
Whether I'm right or wrong or simply manic...
And finally, who shot JR?
I'm more worried about the Urlacher situation because at least the Bears addressed another Running back in the draft this year. It's all up to Benson to beat out his competition in Training Camp if he really wants to keep on earning a nice paycheck to continue partying on his boat/s in the offseason. If he's still not motivated enough to perform better this upcoming season after all the recent distractions in the news, then he's a hopeless cause. Therefore, yes, I care less about Benson missing the first OTA for now and more interested in tonight's NBA lottery for the Bulls. Unfortunately, the Bulls have fallen that far under the radar now just based on the dwindling number of blog posts that I've witnessed on Bulls topics. Only the Bulls regular posters like myself care enough to write anything anymore.
I think what would be more funny for the Bulls is if they land the #3 pick instead of 1 or 2, thus losing out on Beasley or Rose. Who then would they consider at #3 is the more intriguing question? I would laugh if that happened. Only the Bulls...
As for Mr. Schanwald, I would think Pax would be too embarrassed to show himself up there for the mess he contributed to the team's downfall last season or perhapse he's too busy interviewing his 10th asst coach candidate in less than a week. Rumor has it that Norm Van Lier and Red Kerr have entered the coaching sweepstakes. What a coincidence that both Steve Kerr and John Paxson, both ex-Bulls players with exactly the same playing skills as elite role players of the Jordan Championship era, are still having problems finding a coach and both stiffed by D'Antoni? Food for though, but I sure like Kerr's nucleus of players a lot better than ours.
Reed Johnson's catch a few weeks ago looked nicer in the highlight reel than Edmond's catch last night.
What do I care less about???
That's easy, and I'll give you one guess.
(this one should be a real no-brainer)
Cedric Benson could miss the entire season for all I care.
And as for tonight's draft lottery? ... Even if the Bulls got the first pick, Paxson would only screw it up.
I just don't see a whole lot to care about here.
But much like Seedy, I could write about ten pages worth of things I don't give a damn about.
The only thing that concerns me at the moment is that I'm running a bit low on Vodka, and I'm not quite sure about what I want to have for dinner this evening.
Waking up tomorrow concerns me too, but I won't worry about that unless it doesn't happen. (in which case it would be too late to worry anyway)
BULLS GET FIRST PICK!!!
well, lets see what do i care about least...i don't normally spend much time thinking about things this way, but guess there aren't any real sports topics to discuss. What could possibley be next a blog on boxing?
Hey Culzie, 2 people care so little about you that they mentioned you on this thread. Now that's impressive!
Juile sez: "Hey Culzie, 2 people care so little about you that they mentioned you on this thread. Now that's impressive!"
Who is this "Culzie" that you speak of, and kindly inform me as to when I should begin being impressed.
Make that 3!!!
Marky Mark, you did it again you fool. Just a hunch, you already are impressed. You brought this on yourself, do you not realize that?
Julie sez: Marky Mark, you did it again you fool. Just a hunch, you already are impressed. You brought this on yourself, do you not realize that?"
I didn't realize you were that far out of your mind.
I'd be more impressed by an autistic, idiot savant, because at least they have a particular talent that is all their own.
This person you speak of possesses only the ability to offend, and make a fool of himself ... although I doubt that he could do them both while walking and chewing gum at the same time.
Please, don't insult me by even suggesting that I would ever be even remotely impressed by someone with the intellect and writing skills of a gnat.
The more you mention him, the more you discredit your fleeting point. There is no single person that gets more personal responses than BC - maybe you're not impressed, but we're all entitled to our opinions of course. That's what makes the world interesting. We're all good, I'm just trying to get you all riled up, and it's working! Sweet! Can I still call you Marky Mark? I'll form a Funky Bunch club just for you.
Julie sez: "Sweet! Can I still call you Marky Mark? I'll form a Funky Bunch club just for you."
I usually refer to people by thier chosen names or handles.
I'm sure I could come up with a whole "funky bunch" of names to call you; but Roman wouldn't print any of them, so why bother?
HEY YOU TWO....SETTLE THE F DOWN BACK THERE.......OR SO HELP ME I WILL TURN THIS CAR AROUND AND THIS VACATION WILL BE OVER!!!!
JB...couldnt you have said that part about me getting more personal responses than anyone in a thread that had more that 11 posts on it??
Just two Threads over, there are 130+ comments and counting...couldnt you have placed these HOF comments ...over there??
Oh well...Ill take it, but...talk about missed opportunity!
Mark..your a good dude...take some deep breathes and remember, that julie is only trying to make her guest spot on my AM talk show more permanant, so dont take it personally.
Roman:
Did you delete my semi-polite response to Ms. B?
Roman responds: Mark, you have to chill out brother, I've deleted one of your posts. Ricky's been posting a lot lately, I've been swamped.
Hey Rick, if you want to write posts this weekend, it's yours.
Ricky responds: ok. (Can we do this or does it look stupid?)
Roman responds: "Mark, you have to chill out brother, I've deleted one of your posts."
For the life of me I can't remember anything that could have been considered offensive in that reply.
I responded in an appropriate fashion; without vulgarity or mane calling. (BTW ... My name isn't Marky Mark, and that was the entire point I was trying to stress)
I respect people enough to address them in the manner that they choose to be addressed.
Even when I'm slamming just about everything else they've written I at least have the courtesy to respond using the moniker of their personal choice.
It's a pet peeve of mine.
Years ago, when I was young and tough, people who addressed me inappropriately learned rather quickly that doing so was not in their best interest.
Now I'm just an old man, and do most of my fighting on-line, but I'd still appreciate the same respect, regardless of whether or not my opponents agree with my point of view.
Culzie, I've been reading Barbara Walters' memoir - I know how to become your permanent co-host! It's a natural segue from our nationally syndicated sports radio show anyway.
Becoming my Co-Host takes great courage and staying calm under pressure and in the face of danger.
Did you see Golden Child? or Indiana Jones Last Crusade, when they had to pass all those challenges?
Its like that, but harder.
Oh..and you have to solve the Sphinx's riddle!!!
I did all that already. And I ordered a pizza. Anything else?
We will call it..
