Rock, chalk .. Culzie
Congrats to bculz for winning the inaugural Full Court Press NCAA Tournament challenge.
Julie B. finished second, Hitman was third and I took fourth.
Just as well, I was worried that the first time I won an NCAA pool there wouldn't be a monetary prize.
Instead, we'll let Culzie pick and write the thread of the day. Ricky and I will post the comments and Culzie can respond to those he wants.
So Culzie, the floor is yours.

I think this might be the first time a blog author responds to himself, as well as his own critique of his original post...as only bculz can do.

Congratulations are definitely in order. Again, this proves it's never over 'til it's over.
O.K. Home Skillet, A.K.A. Bculz. I'm with you on this blog if you promise to go back to Oct. 22nd, 2007 at 11:43 a.m. under the heading "Anybody still think Rex should start".
Take a good look at line twelve and then tell me if even you know you, or is everything that comes out just blog chatter.

Congratulations 'Culzie! Everybody loves a winner.

Come on, Culzie, we're starting to yawn.

Culzie, well done dog. Who knew faith in Bill Self would actually pay off.
I can't wait to see what your going to write about.

Congrats, culzie. Now maybe Rex can get a little respect around here, too!
Posted by: Chuck | April 9, 2008 06:54 AM
Congrats culzie ... you would have won even if I had filled out a bracket, I told you I was 31st out of 4,321 going into the final four in the bracket I did fill out and could end up anywhere from 1st to 500th depending on those 3 games. Well I didn't have Kansas making the final game and ended up at 450. again congrats!

Cinderella Boy...Tears in his eyes.....I guess...
Sorry, I was traveling yesterday....didnt get home till 11pmMT
ok...let me think.....
Posted by: bculz | April 9, 2008 08:37 AM
OK, even though my Day of Glory falls during a time when there is less sports stories to talk about in right now than there are super delegates who havent been brow beat into submission by the Clintons.....but here it goes...
WITH OVER 9000 BUDDHIST TEMPLES DESTROYED AND NEARLY A MILLION TIBETIANS KILED AT THE HANDS OF COMMUNIST CHINA....SHOULD THE US BOYCOTT THE 2008 OLYMPICS OR NOT?
Roman responds: Ok, you want this to be your thread?
Posted by: bculz | April 9, 2008 08:43 AM
Next time lets do a "knowing what things in baseball are most relevant to winning" pool. That way I'll take over this blog for sure.
Posted by: Noles | April 9, 2008 10:22 AM
The troops are getting restless! I'm currently on vacation, but I'd gladly step in and take over the blog if Culzie fails to claim his prize within a timely fashion. (I just won't mention exactly where in Scottsdale I am, for fear of my own personal safety.) Roman, can you have your little Ricky make me a silver medal or something? I just assumed there was some kind of prize for 2nd other than props from Hitman & Keith (thanks, btw).
Posted by: Julie B. | April 9, 2008 10:27 AM
Should the USA boycott the 2008 Olympics in Communist China in light of serious human rights violations and the on going but recently amped up Free Tibet movement?
I've read reports that nearly 1 million Tibetian Monks have been killed and nearly 9000 buddhist Monastaries have been destroyed by the Red Chinese Goverment.

I revised it...run with the new one.
Posted by: bculz | April 9, 2008 12:58 PM
The superdelegates have not been brow-beaten by the Clintons, they've been bitch-slapped. Big difference.
I need to be more gracious to Culzie; this bracket stuff is an art and I have no artistic talent. Congratulations and blog away, o sultan of misspellings and CAPS usage.

Facial Hair and how it correlates with Batting Order?
Posted by: bculz | April 9, 2008 01:06 PM
Bubba's Mom, I'd like you to know that your posts are by far the funniest on the blog and I look forward to your nuggets, as random as they are.
Posted by: Julie B. | April 9, 2008 04:46 PM
Julie -
Thank you, my daughter. Have a good time in Scottsdale -- hope you brought sunscreen. When you return please teach me how to fill out a bracket. Thanks!

wa-wa-what?
Posted by: bculz | April 9, 2008 09:17 PM
You better not be House Shopping!!!
Posted by: bculz | April 10, 2008 08:41 AM
I just want to toss this out there.......
How 'bout a FCP fantasy football league? The prize could be something even better than taking over the blog for a day - like taking over the world for a day!!! Whattya say? My New Momma, I'll help you draft your team.
I bet Ricky's into the idea......
(and Ether Huffin's into it because the ellipses enticed him)
Posted by: Julie B. | April 10, 2008 10:02 AM
I get Reggie Bush though!!
Posted by: bculz | April 10, 2008 01:09 PM
What's your address again? And where are all those lakes?
Posted by: Julie B. | April 10, 2008 04:01 PM
You can have him. I'll take Adrian Peterson, purple.
Posted by: Julie B. | April 11, 2008 01:39 AM
Lakes...I said Snakes!!!
Posted by: bculz | April 11, 2008 08:17 AM
Fear the Ether Huffin Monkeyz...I'll play
Posted by: Hitman | April 11, 2008 11:04 AM
I'll play, too. I'm not as terrible w/football as I'd be with basketball. I want John Elway on my team.
Posted by: Bubba's Mom | April 11, 2008 01:45 PM
Sweet! Roman, are you paying attention?
Roman responds: Not 100 percent, I admit. What have I missed, the fantasy league stuff?
Posted by: Julie B. | April 11, 2008 04:03 PM
I knew it. Yeah, FCP FFL!!! I'm not the only one - I told you this would be popular! We've already started a mock draft - c'mon, please? The prize is taking over the world for a day, or something equally as enticing. Have Ricky set it up on yahoo like the bracket pool, but I'd suggest inviting specific bloggers to play so we have a league of 12 or so teams. Don't forget Bubba's Mom, who has recently adopted me, because she's gonna draft John Elway. You can have Brett Favre, unless he unretires, then the Monkeyz will take him for sure.

I also want to note that I am one of the few bloggers who has had their name in two BlogHeadlines.
