I'm excited that for the first time all four No. 1 seeds advanced to the Final Four, and there is some hometown pride in two of the teams being led by Chicago-area guards.
I've seen Derrick Rose look sporadic during the season (although that observation is based on the expectation of greatness), but he sure looked great in leading his team to the Final Four.
And Sherron Collins has taken Bill Self off the list of coaches who have been to the NCAA tourney the most without getting to the Final Four.
Both Final Four games should be great. I picked UCLA to beat UNC before the tourney, and I"m sticking with that. I know Memphis hit its free throws today, but that's still a big question mark.

I guess if you have these teams picked in your brackets then it would be exciting, otherwise...what a bore of a tourney!!!. And I guess having two chicago players on teams in other parts of the country is something to feel an attachment to, but really that and 50cents will get you a cup of coffee, but these days only in a few places that give refills and only if you already paid the 2 bucks for the first cup.
This tournament has had just a few good games. It looks to me like the NCAA needs to beef up their drug testing program. Some of these teams look like they got their players from a 4 year junior college program. They couldn't be taking human growth hormone in colleges these days would they? What next, musicians, movie stars and other performers taking these physique enhancers too?
Well, at least we still have the bulls, when do their playoffs start?

About the only interests this tournament created for me were how far Wisconsin managed to go with hardly any talent and how quickly Indiana folded with all the talent needed to go all the way. At least it is clear that my alma mater's interim coach will not be brought back. What's left is whether or not Eric Gordon opts for another year. He did not help his prospects by suddenly forgetting how to shoot from outside. I.Thomas as a coaching prospect scares me. Everywhere he's gone he's shown that great players do not necessarily make good coaches or managers, in his case quite the opposite.
I would guess that North Carolina will take it all.

Culzie, Louisville was a 3 seed and Davidson a 10 I would have expected a fairly close 1 & 3 game.
Keith I didn't fill out the bracket here but did with the local CBS station and am currently 97th out of 4,303 12 points behind the leader and I have the four #1's in the final four and Memphis and UNC in the final with UNC taking it all. So I still have a good chance to win it all (winner gets $2,500). I was 31st of 4,303 until Davidson beat Wisconsin. With each of the next two games worth 32 points and the final worth 64 I could end up anywhere from 1st to 500th.

Culzie I am cracking UPP!!!! I trully appreciate your kindness in turn. I just cannot stop laughing. Seriously though, you have to stop and smell the roses Culzie. I have a buddy at my church that does the real estate thing. He has been trying to get me into a home for about 5 years, and he is a small time operation. He has his laptop and phone with him whereever he goes. He is ALL-IN. You have to watch stress, its a robber of time.
My wife has been in school the last 3 years at Malcolm X and will graduate at the end of May as a radation technologist!!! Hopefully we will be able to make all of our dreams come true in years to come. Until then, I will be pulling for GLSTFOB!! Laughing again!!!!
