« Attention bald Cubs and Sox fans | Main | Bulls never disappoint »

Attendance record tonight?

While I was at the Hawks' game Wednesday, and it was a terrific game, the fans erupted when they showed Bobby Hull on the scoreboard. It was electric. Hull and Stan Mikita are being honored tonight.

There's talk tonight the Hawks will set a franchise record for attendance. That says a lot. PR boss Jim DeMaria said the game's already a sell-out, including standing-room space.

Couldn't be happier about the Hawks' resurgence this season.

Yes, the story of the Blackhawks this season is truly one that I believe will not go away after just a fleeting moment in time. This franchise is extremely young, talented and blessed with a deep well of bright prospects. Moreover, they have a passionate coach with a big name, an outstanding marketing team--can't believe how that's changed--headed by John McDonough, and now have Hull and Mikita back IN FULL GLORY to remind us all of how this franchise, believe it or not, once owned Chicago back in the sixties giving us that much more hope for the years ahead. I am not one to make such proclamations, but THIS FRANCHISE WILL WIN THE STANLEY CUP WITHIN THREE TO FOUR YEARS.

Now we nedd to bring back Roenick.

The game was very exciting even on TV. I wish the Hawks had a talented enforcer, namely, Donald Brashear, on the team.

BRING BACK SEGA!!!!
