Who's the Cubs' biggest threat?

| | Comments (7)

I think the Cubs are as dangerous as any team in the National League right now.

And that's just because I don't think there's any real powerhouse in the NL. The Cubs are 8-2 in their last 10, and are very, very lucky they're facing the Pirates. I was at the game yesterday, and the one thing Pittsburgh had going for it all season - defense, has completely abandoned the Pirates this weekend.

The Mets would have been my pick, but their recent troubles before arriving in Miami would suggest otherwise. I think they're the most talented team, but maybe not the most dangerous.

The Phillies? Outside of the Rockies, Philly is the hottest team, 9-1 in its last 10.

But does any one of these teams pose such a great threat that Cubs fans can't think of the World Series? I don't think so.

It's gonna be someone from the West...AZ specifically...

Cubs are hot, though...just like you said...couldn't be a better time

You can say there isn't a real powerhouse in the NL...but looking up and down our roster...I'd be inclined to say DaCubs have the best team in the NL....

and now they're putting it all together...

Everybody jump in my homerwagon....we'll do the fanboy mile

ANY AMERICAN LEAGUE TEAM WILL POSE A THREAT TO THE CUBS...OH, I FORGOT TO MENTION, ANY NL TEAM WITH A WINNING RECORD POSES A THREAT TO THE CUBS!!

Thats a really good question. I would think it's Arizona. Lots of Hitting and pretty decent pitching.

Mets

San Diego
Peavy,Young and Maddux

The Wrigley's

The Cubs are their own biggest threat...having that knack for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory!
