What's the excuse now?
How great San Diego's defense was doesn't wash after what the Pats did yesterday. And NOBODY thinks KC's defense is any good. Rex Grossman just isn't very good, and I don't think he's going to get much better.
I'm sure he'll have a couple of good games, but please - for the love of God - don't give me any more Favre or Manning or Montana comparisons. I'm starting to think even Doug Flutie comparisons might be too kind to Rex.
And Benson had the quietest 100 yards I've ever seen in my life. I asked Ruben Brown after the game if he thought Benson was much better than in Week 1, and he said he'd have to look at the film. Exactly. It was that kind of 100 yards. Almost unnoticeable.
I really want the two aforementioned players to play better. If only to shut me and every Tom, Dick and doubter up. This game represents whether or not we need to remove the training wheels. Man to man: if I was in this situation I would fight hard like the devil to prove to everyone, along with myself, that I was a real man. But, like I've said before: when guys have a few million dollars in the bank they may not need to work any harder. If you were gonna take it away from them I'm sure they would play harder. If you won the lottery and 10 million dollars last night would you go to work on Monday? Maybe only to brag and to tell your boss to kiss where the sun don't shine. Maybe that's why Ced cried when he was drafted. Deep down maybe he was saying,"man, now I don't have to go and get a real job".
Hillenmeyer covering Tony Gonzalez...can we stop that???!!! NOW?
Rex-Cedrin = Headache!!! Rex is so bad that he is getting a pass on the first interception. Ced pissed me off when he just let the ball sit there. It was lazy. Is it any wonder that the only weapons that were working were the ones not linked to the QB or RB? Defense, special teams, and Hester. I am adding Ron Turner to the two headed monster! His play calling is too conservative. O line is off the hook. They were blocking well.
Thoughts on the game:
- thank god for Devin Hester
- defense played adequately
- Chiefs made major mistakes with blocked FG and stupid penalty on the touchdown pass
- Rex still sucks, but remember, this is only his second season as a starter, I'm sure he'll get better.....not
- Benson had the quietest 100 yards I can ever remember
- Offensive line still just as old and ineffective as last week
Bottom line, the Bears won because of Hester and almost lost because of Grossman. But we all know Grossman will never, ever lose his job, regardless of his performance. Anyone else would have been cut, or at least benched by now. Maybe someday we will know the true story of why he continues to play.
The jury is still out on Benson, when he gets 100 yards against a good defense, give me a call.
I guess 1 and 1 is better than 0 and 2, but I can't help feeling that the Bears should have won by 4 touchdowns against a team that only scored 3 point against the Texans.
I didn't see any giant leaps from last week. If anything the inferior talent that we faced and played us close opened up a new can of worms. It looked like they took it easy on Rex to be exact. We had a lot exposed. Ced quietly put up 104 yards. He just has that lacksadaisal approach that drives me crazy. My father said that that wasn't necessarily a bad thing because the Great Jim Brown did it all the time. My pops is 72 and he clearly is losing it to bring those two into the same sentence. Peterson can juke with the best of them. Get him more touches!! Please tell me that we won't have to listen to Simms again anytime soon. Does he know about any rule changes or did they not speak slow enough for him to understand them. I'm not taking the training wheels off just yet. The Chiefs are a bad joke who would stink even in the NFC. GO BEARS!!
Huard was the better QB out there today. Now we know why the Bears don't try the Screen Pass. That takes a little finesse, something Grossman lacks. Can you imagine if he had to switch places with Huard? He would probably thrown about 5+ picks. You might want to go back and ask how many wins this team is going to get. I don't think more than 7. Next week Prime Time against Dallas. That is not going to be pretty, as we all know how Rex performs on National TV. All I can say is without Hester, this Team is toast!!!
Just how much longer do we have to put up with Grossman?
I have backed Grossman time after time but enough of this.
Play Griese or Orton one game and if you still have the same problems then you know that it is more than your QB.
If not then Grossman sits for the rest of the year and they let him go after the season is over.
Rex Grossman has without a doubt, listened to Pep Hamilton and improved a lot of his mechanics.
But, when I met Fergie Jenkins (sorry for the baseball reference) one time at the ESPNZone and I asked him about athletes and their work ethic...Fergie said to me, "If they don't have IT, it doesn't make a difference how hard they work."
ie) Rex Grossman
Good running game and great special teams today!
Still would like to see a few more big plays out of Urlacher, and a little more pressure on the QB.
Well, now I feel so much better that the Bears lost to that "great" Chargers team. I remember many of you telling me that once we play a "regular" team we'll do SO much better. Didn't happen did it?
GROSSMAN
Once we rid the team of this cancer, we can have a legitimate NFL team. Until we do, we will remain the laughingstock of professional sports.
REAL Bears fans will stop covering for this guy. REAL Bears fans will point out Grossman's shortcomings and not simply cheer for the Bears "no matter what". Anyone that accepts Grossman's performance as being satisfactory is not a REAL fan, but a chump, that is willing to swallow whatever BS he is fed by Bears management and coaches.
My pops is 72 and he clearly is losing it....
I knew I liked something about you...YOUR POPS!!
Big Willie - your pops might be 72, but I bet he would have reacted faster than Benson did (when that ball got loose). Like i've said before...going to be a collosal waste of time when the Defense gets too old, or we have to start parting with guys.
John F - I agree. Bears should have hung 40 on them...easily. And I agree about Benson. I was extremly happy to see the Bears run some clock though.
It was the best of Rex, it was the worst of Rex, it was the age of lovie's wisdom, it was the age of lovie's foolishness, it was the epoch of Angelo's belief, it was the epoch of fan's incredulity, it was the season of Light on defense, it was the season of Darkness on offense, it was the spring of Hester hope, it was the winter of turnover despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to superbowl heaven, we were all going direct the other way - in short, the season was so far like the present game, that some of its noisiest football authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only.
Earl, A Tale of Two Bears Teams
Anyone who thinks that this offensive line is adequate is on dope or dog food! I have never seen a unit that can't pick up a blitz. And Ron Turner is making Terry Shea and John Shoop look like geniuses. Memo to Ron: If I can read your plays sitting in my family room, so can professional coaches and players that compete against you!
What amazes me about Bear fans, the Chicago Media and the National Media is your lack of objectivity. If Rex Grossman had played like Philip Rivers did against the Patriots, everyone would want Rex hung. Yet when Rivers and Eli Manning play like they couldn't start in the IHSA, it gets a free ride because the other team just played better. Fans in Chicago are the biggest idiots ever, and that's why we rarely ever win as a city!
Roman responds: You started to make a point, then completely fell off with the logic of why we don't win as a city. Huh? And you need to read the NY papers and listen to its sports talk to see that Eli is not getting a free pass at all.
It looks like the only thing more reliable than the ineptitude of Rex Grossman is the ineptitude of the Kansas City Chiefs.
I agree with Philtration. I've been backing Grossman this whole time and after I watched him throw that forced Interception from the Shotgun, I lost it. I mean, many fans have been pining for Turner to let him use the shotgun, which would allow Grossman to see the field better and have more time to see his receivers. But what happened, he forced a throw that would have only yielded 3 yards.
Oh, and get rid of Mushin Muhammed. That dropped pass was terrible. He had butter fingers during his first season with the bears and was only slightly better last year, but not by much. He isn't getting any younger and we have a core of young receivers that aren't getting much playing time. If you get Moose out of the lineup, Bradley and Hester will get more chances to develop with in game experience.
no.no.no.no. Rex is a GREAT QB! one of the interceptions this week was his fault.....if they want someone to manage the game get Orton in there....If they want someone to rival Farvre..keep Rex in there and change the game plan......Now it is the Offense that is way to conservative....maybe Turner can Join his brother and mo-Ron Rivera. That way all the idiots in the league can be on the same staff. Told ya the Chargers weren't good.....unless...New England is STILL cheating...kind of looked that way. In order for Rex to get better he has to step it up as a leader and get the laziness out of his receiving corp. Did you see how many blocks Cedric missed? Especially pass plays. C'mon don't blame Rex-he did well until the offense started getting lazy. O-line sucks so far this year. Is that all Kreutz can do? Get in fights??
For a guy who's been throwin' the football as long as Rex has, his mechanics are terrible. He threw off his back foot at least a half dozen times yesterday, with nobody within three feet, and the Bears have to be one the worst in the N.F.L. setting up a screen. The offensive line gives too much push and the pocket is too shallow because of it. Great running between tackles, and 55 was all over the place. Not a good sign on offense, anywhere. GO DEVIN!
Imagine how good Bears could be with a legit NFL QB?Rex simply can't get job done on a regular basis.
The play calling is very suspect to me. What's wrong with running on first down? I swear, it seems like they pass at least 50% of the time on 1st down, and that always sets Rex up for failure. Clearly he doesn't make the best decisions when he's under pressure, but he runs the plays that are given to him in his little (word used for emphasis) headset. The offense is really struggling - I don't think a 2-yard gadget play to a tackle is anything to write home about - and pounding the rock more might help. But what do I know, I'm not Ron Turner. Bottom line is this game should have been a blow out, but we kept giving the Chiefs opportunities to get right back into it. A better team would have capitalized on our mistakes. Defense/special teams to the rescue yet again!
I also was shocked - and I should annunciate that more - SHOCKED! - that they announced the offensive starters in the pre-game. Why would they put Rex out there like that? He was not "ripped" by the fans, but I'd say his reception was mixed. Next week they should announce the special teams - they were the best phase of the game yesterday.
What a joke....Anyway, next week, national TV...a strong front seven for Dallas...
The only thing we have is Devin and Defense....sing it to Bennie and the Jets...it's trendy
RexandCed blow
The offensive line is terrible. No excuses for Rex, but he barely has time to drop back into the pocket before a defender is in his face. No wonder he keeps fumbling those snaps....he knows he better get the hell out of there before he is crushed! He's just a little guy, ya know.
I'm still not impressed. And weather it is Ron Turners play calling, Rex Grossman's poor decisions in and out of the pocket, or the offensive line's paper wall protection of the QB, The Bears are going to get sch-lacked by any decent team this season. Rex's passing decisions were terrible. If he had thrown passes like that against a team with a semi decent secondary he would have had 6 interceptions yesterday. He threw right into double and triple coverage several times yesterday most of which would have been easy pickings for most NFL DBs. I don't see him as the next Farvre or even a rival to him. I wish he was. He should be a lot better than he is, maybe its the uniform.
The Bears have to do something. They have to make Grossman fit (this does not seem to be working), make the others fit around him, or get rid of him. Otherwise I hope we can beat up on enough crappy teams to make the playoffs.
I am starting to believe that the QB position is cursed in Chicago. I hope I am wrong
BEAR DOWN!
Roman responds: I was wondering where you've been. I'll include some of this in our "Best of the Blog" item in tomorrow's paper.
We make excuses about this being Rex's 2nd full season and Benson's chance to be the 'man' - and then Devin Hester (the real deal) trots on the field and shows us all what real talent does. If you have REAL talent it shows regardless of how long you have been in the league. Devin Hester evicerated the Chief's special teams! If it wasn't for the holding call - he outscores them by himself.
If you take out the picks, Grossman played great. Hester did do half of the scoring for us. But think about it: If Hester hadn't scored a touchdown, that would've meant more time for Rex's offense and less time for the Chiefs offense. I had more problems with the playcalling than with Rex's throws. There were too many unnecessary deep passes when all they needed was 3 to 5 yards. The offensive coordinator should've taken the hint from that OT touchdown that throwing half way across the world wasn't what they needed to win.
Thomas Jones was an excellent runningback, but if we wanted to keep him we would've done something earlier. Benson is our guy now. We're not going to be able to pound through the line without risking a fumble. I'd like to ask for more creative playcalling by Ron Turner. If they have Hester on offense, he should be blocking, not catching.
Okay... Bears Offense 10... Chiefs 10... Hester 10. We still win.
Random thoughts...
Benson can carry the load (4.5 avg). He took some good hits and delivered some. Now keep it up.
Rex? Hmmmmm. Jury is still out. He may be color blind. It seemed like in every key situation, he kept trying to throw to Bear receivers only when they had 3 Chiefs around them.
Offense: Playing calling was okay. Still not a big fan of Turner's game planning, but the more I see of Rex the more I realize that he doesn't seem to see the entire field when passing. Whatever happened to Wolfe becoming a poor man's Reggie Bush? Hester on offense? Berrian having that break out year?
Defense: Come on, Lovie, let the dogs out. The D started to dominate in the 3rd and 4th quarters, but once it chewed up and spit out Huard, the coaches seemed to put the leash on the D.
San Diego getting mawled by the Patriots. Wow, looks like the Bears have some more fine-tuning to do to reach the upper echelon of the NFL. San Diego was trounced (and that was with the Patriots unable to use their spies).
Okay guys/gals let me ask a few questions:
Do you think certain players have heart? This question means sometimes you get real pissed off rather it is at teammates, coaches, officials or management and fans, it actually can make a person play better because they are going to try very damn hard! If they do not succeed they will become highly pissed at themselves and possibly those around them.
Do you think signing bonuses has taken the will to earn the payday because the money is sitting in the bank already, and there really is no reason to play hard? The only thing an athlete has to do is take media/fan criticism but what does that mean when having millions in the bank already?
Some players are so naturally gifted and talented they will shine regardless of money or not. (i.e) Devin Hester, Brian Urlacher.
Some others will not,(i.e) Rex and Ced. They have talent, but seem not to understand, THEY HAVE TO WORK MUCH HARDER THAN OTHERS!!! Especially considering they have the money locked up already! But that could be the problem!...*sigh*
How can Turner open up the playbook and go all out when he has Rex at quarterback. Bad decisions and poor mechanics will be worse than depending on the defense to win the game. The Bears will hang tough for at least another 8 games, but they will lose steam going into the end of the season. Bears showed what their defense and special teams are capable of, unfortunately, they also showed what their offense is capable of. Not an easy schedule like last year and every team will come after Rex, we will be lucky to get into the playoffs on a wild card...by that time a worn out defense will not be able to get us any further.
Watch what the Cowboys will do to Rex..it's what everybody is doing...pressure,pressure,pressure...challenging him to beat them. He might get a few scores down the line, but it also means a lot of three and outs and long days for the defense. Defense cant win them all...neither can Hester.
Watched the game in person. In addition to the O line being bad, and Rex being bad, the receivers CAN'T get open.
To be clear, this combo is not good.
I am still optimistic but a bit subdued. I still think ( hope ) good Rex will emerge, and Sunday night he'd better. I do think Rex gets too bad a rap from the Grossman haters. Don't you guys remember the zombies we had prior to Orton and Rex?
Go Cubs!! Go Bears!! World Series and Super Bowl the same season! Who said Chicago rarely has a winner? Remember the Bulls and the White Sox? Were they from another city?
Without.....RexandCed..
People are singing it and asking me to print copies....yay
I like the way Tom Waddle put it best....teams will just throw the kitchen sink at Rex....cuz nobody's even giving Benson any thought
and Yeah, I know...Waddle doesn't know what he's talking about, either
Where can this Best of the Blog be seen?
Roman responds: In the paper. I'll see about it getting it on-line for you remote S-T readers.
I don't get it. This team was said to be loaded with talent, especially at receivers. Now it looks like they'll have trouble going over .500. What happened, Roman?
Roman responds: I think they'll be well over .500. The defense looks very, very good. And the offense looked lousy at times last season, too. But last year, the offense did have some good games. We just haven't seen one yet.
Roman, where have the MMA blogs been?
Roman responds: My bad, I'll get on it.
Dont let anyone think that SD isnt still top 3 teams in the league right now. The Pats may just be that good.....AT CHEATING.
Hey...where are all the Cheating is Cheating crybabys bye the way?? Must be Bostonians.
Bears Fan said "Rex and Ced... They have talent, but seem not to understand, THEY HAVE TO WORK MUCH HARDER THAN OTHERS!!! Especially considering they have the money locked up already! But that could be the problem!"
What are you talking about? Grossman is in his contract year. The money isn't there. If he doesn't improve soon and continues to turn in lack luster performances, his days as a Bear are numbered.
I don't think that Grossman is not succeeding due to a lack of trying. He has heart and he wants to win. He just isn't learning from his mistakes. Quarterback has to be at least 10 times harder than all the other positions in football. On offense, all the other players have to worry about are a few assignments or routes while the Quarterback has to know what all of his teammates are doing and keep track of the defense. It takes a special person to play quarterback and do well in the NFL. I really really want Grossman to succeed because of the heart he has, but I just don't know if will.
one last point....all I hear replayed is 'how much more aggressive this year's defense is". Remember two seasons ago...when they were much more agressive? They gave up big plays...consistently...and we are starting to see that 2 games into the season. If you accept that...then you should also except
how many big plays Rex gives us(well i guess not this year....YET.). He is best when he is bend-but dont-break. Just like our defense of last year. I am definatley not a fan of Ron Rivera, but he realized that. Bear Down-No.
DON'T BREAK-yes. Rex is not a game manager, nor should someone with his natural passing talent be. The Bears are not Blitzers, nor should a team with their natural gifted pass pressure be. No More T.D. passes from guys like Tomlinson or Huard.
Mr. Modrowski....Any feedback of the online paper yet? Does it read like a paper? You know they can do some realistic this with flash players now...like Officemaxe's online ad...or Staples...you can flip it page by page. I would get it in an instant. No more 2 day old Tribunes.
Roman responds: I haven't heard a ton, but what I did hear was positive.
This is only game two, but it is not looking good at all, and please someone tell AP and Wolfe to pick up the blitz.
Babich, Hillenmeyer is not the best cover linebacker we have.
Well it's official. Lovie Smith has tendered his resignation as the Bear's Head Coach and will move on at season's end. And the good news is that idiot Ron Turner will go with him. What am I talking about you ask? Lovie hasn't resigned, you're making this up! It's true that Lovie hasn't sent a letter of resignation in yet but he has effectively ended his career by participating in the following decisions:
1, Continuing to play Rex Grossman at quarterback when he is more suited to be the team Janitor.
2, Agreeing to the Thomas Jones trade.
3, Allowing some moron to pick Cedric "AKA Rashaan Salaam, Curtis Enis, Kijana Carter" Benson in the first round.
4, Trading Chris Harris because Mike Brown will come back 100% and play a full season in 2007....yeah right.
5, Acting like losing to San Diego was really a moral victory because San Diego is really the best Team since the 85' Bears.....as they proved vs new England.
The season is over folks and the only way the Bears will ever get back to the Superbowl is for the following things to happen:
1, The Bears lay down the rest of the way, go 1-15 and secure the number one pick, draft Brian Brohm and trade up to get Mike Hart from Michigan to run the ball.
2, Because they go 1-15, Lovie Smith is fired and they hire Urban Meyer from Florida after he wins his 2nd straight National Championship. Meyer, with a rookie quarterback installs a REAL offense and with Hester, the Defense dominating and Mike Hart running wins the Super Bowl on his 1st try.
3, Meyer scraps that BS "Cover Two" defense and allows the massive amount of defensive talent they have to dominate the way New England dominated San Diego.
4, Hire a real General Manager who won't give a giant signing bonus to a loser like Cenric Beson.
Maybe all that will erase the memory of Rex sacking himself, throwing picks, fumbling the ball and destroying what should be the best Team in the NFL.
When I say that Eli and Philip Rivers get a free pass, I am talking about from the NATIONAL MEDIA. You never hear them clowns at the "boo-ya" network say anything bad about Rivers and Manning. I personally believe that if Mannings last name was Johnson he would be in the CFL! Don't get me wrong, Rex makes dumb decisions, but I am sick of Ron Turner, the offensive line and the countless other losers on offense getting a free ride. The reason we never win as a city is because we never understand the "real" problems. For example, the Bears don't have the personnel to run a power offense. They have finesse personnel. Bernard Berrian weighs about 180lbs soaking wet yet they run him across the middle of the field, he gets lit up and fumbles! What sense does that make?
Wait a minute, the White Sox won 1 ring in the last 90 years. I hardly think that qualifies a a dynasty! The Cubs are the Cubs. The Bears have 1 ring the last 40+ years. I enjoyed the Bulls but other than them, no other team has been a consistent threat.
I looked in the newspaper to see that you gave the Offensive line a grade of C. I am ashamed to say I went to DePaul when you were there Roman! LOL! The Offensive line had the Chiefs looking like the 75' Steelers. I have never seen a unit that allows at least one person a game "T" off on the quarterback. And the defenders were coming in untouched.
Two frequently mentioned topics in this blog are disturbing factors that are heavily true contributors to our offensive deficiencies.
1. Blitz pick-up. Granted Benson and Peterson are still learning this practice, but gosh jolly Rex, when you have the center and both guards covered by 'D' linemen, motion to your back to step up a few feet to be in better position to pick up what is a darn good chance to be a blitz. Stevie Wonder saw that one comin'. To his credit though, he picked up most of the other blitzes with quick passes.
2. Ron Turner does not make good adjustments to the 'D' changes in the second half, nor has he been very creative with his play calling. Lack of trust in the line and Q.B. Ronnie Boy?
I guess any push to shotgun formation is a 'beating a dead horse' foregone conclusion. Question? Roman, are you and your cohorts aware of any other team in the N.F.L. that HAS NOT used the shotgun at least once in the past 1+ years?
Romo - did u see McNabb's comments from HBO? That black QBs are critized more than white ones? Has he ever been to Chicago?
too funny
Roman responds: I thought the same thing and started a thread on it.
"2, Because they go 1-15, Lovie Smith is fired and they hire Urban Meyer from Florida after he wins his 2nd straight National Championship. Meyer, with a rookie quarterback installs a REAL offense and with Hester, the Defense dominating and Mike Hart running wins the Super Bowl on his 1st try.
"
Why would Meyer want to work for the Bears? Why would Hester want to stay on the team after a 1/15 season?
The fans are dreaming if they think that "plugging" Hester in on offense is going to give us an offensive boost. Hester is an amazing returner, but he's not a wide receiver. When not on special teams, Hester's main abilities are blocking and tackling. He'd make a better corner or safety than a strong side receiver. Put Hester in at tailback and run the screen, put him in at the weak side and throw to Muhammed, or put him in at cornerback at third and long; but don't just stuff him in the main receiver slot all willy-nilly and wish for a touchdown. That's just stupid football.
uh....Ed.............in........Richmond.......bears never had Kijana Carter. How is the bears defense still going to be dominating with Urban Myth as the coach? I will stop there because at least you didn't say Mark Cuban was going to Buy the team.
The Bears offense will get better when theses three things happen.
1.) Reciever's run their full routes(and not short stepping) all the time. No giving up on the routes ever.
2.) The O'line AND Cedric consistently practies both types of blocking. I get the feeling they only focus on what they executed poorly the previous week.
3.) Talk to Tom Coughlin about how to hold the ball so you don't fumble( I would have said talk to Tiki, but we don't want any rumors of that 'never was' coming back to play for the Bears. Besides it was Tom Coughlin who taught him how to NOT fumble.)
Dear Stuckinwisconsin(Glad you're stuck there instead of me): Everyone knows Kijana Carter never played for the Bears, he is just another running back drafted in the 1st round who was a bust in the NFL, like Cedric Benson, Salaam and Enis etc. Urban Meyer doesn't need to worry about the Bear's defense, they'll be fine. All he will have to do is fix the offense and play the right quarterback. If the defense can get off the field once in a while and play with a lead, they will dominate. By the way, the offense will never improve until Ron(I wish I were Norv) Turner is fired. You make comments about football about as effectively as Rex Grossman plays quarterback. Now get back to cooking brats and wearing Cheesehead hats and leave us alone!
Due to the fact I have been busy since late last week moving from the Buffalo area to North Carolina I am just now catching up on what both the Bears and Cubs have been doing. After reading through this thread and todays articles on the Bears several things seem quite apparent.....
1. Rex/Ced have not inspired anymore love among most fans
2. Ron Turner's game plan and play calling are more conservative than the far right political wing
3. the offensive line is as porous as swiss cheese
4. the only back picking up a blitz is Rex and actually he's picking himself up afterwards
5. Devin Hester IS the Bears offense so far
addressing points 1 & 2 Greg Couch's article today maybe right on the mark. Turner's conservative play calling may be causing Rex to think too much. open the game up, be more aggressive and get the wide receivers more involved, why not hand the ball to Hester on an end-around? seems that would be something right up his alley one good block would turn him loose in the secondary. with 4 receivers spread out wouldn't a simple draw play for Ced slow down the blitz? seems to me that would be more effective then Rex attempting to finesse a screen play that to this point has been inept. it's time to pull out all the stops and be more aggressive on offense, turn Rex loose and let him sink or swim, get Hester and Olsen involved in the offense as more than decoys maybe that would open up the running game for Benson and Peterson. put the run right, run the middle, get sacked or picked on 3rd and 8 game plan where it belongs......in the garbage!
Ed....did you actually read your post? What are you talking about??? Your even more irrational than Sox fans. No doubt you work in a factory as well. How could anyone with any intelligence,or even the slightest bit of businees sense write that garbage. Shouldn't you be working on a quota or something? Or is your stamping machine broke? Second, I hate Brats and Cheese.
Dear: stuckinwisconsin
Nice job taking a shot at anyone who works in factory. I guess in your opinion anyone who works in a factory has no intelligence. Any factory workers out there wish to respond to this insult? In the meantime, I guess I am out of my mind. As I write this, "Wrecks" Grossman has just thrown a touchdown pass.... for the Cowboys to put the Cowboys up 27-10. And how does the genius Lovie Smith react to that? He sends "Wrecks" back out on the field and he promptly runs into a sack. I guess I was wrong about Ced Benson, he didn't put he ball on the ground and that turned into points for the Cowboys. Oh he did. I guess I was wrong about that idiot Ron Turner, he called a great offensive game for the Bears. Two touchdowns in 3 games, what an offensive explosion! Now I see that the Bob Babich defense, another great hire by Lovie the genius, just let Marion Barber go 50 yards and then score on the next play. So Lovie has gotten a Defensive Coordinator who is just as capable as Ron Turner and all he has done is destroy the best defense in football. And to top it off, Lovie sends "Wrecks" back on the field AGAIN and he promptly throws his 3rd pick of the game. Gee, I don't know how I could have written all that garbage.......maybe because it was true!!! I stand by everything I wrote, Urban Meyer is our only hope!! I see with a minute left, Lovie sends "Wrecks" back on the field AGAIN!!! Lovie is not only ending his career in Chicago he is insuring he'll never be a head coach again in the NFL again. You may be "stuckinwisconsin" but your head is clearly stuck somewhere else.
