Ok, enough Lance, it's baseball season. Give me your Div. winners, wildcard entries, LCS winners and World Series winners. And also tell me how the Cubs and Sox will do.

Baseball season--otherwise known as "the most insufferably-boring time of the year."
AL Division winners - Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox, Oakland A's (Wild Card: New York Yankees)
NL Division Winners - New York Mets, St. Louis Cardinals, Los Angeles Dodgers (Wild Card: San Francisco Giants)
ALCS: Boston over Chicago in a battle of the Sox.
NLCS: Cards over Mets
World Series: Cards over Boston
(I really have no idea what I'm talking about; I'm just having fun with it.)
The Sox will finish in last place. Boston will win the ALCS. The Cubs will stomp the Cardinals in the NLCS and go on to win the World Series! Woooo, time to step away from the bar...
Indians - Angels - Yankees AL div. champs. White Sox the Wild Card. Yankees over Indians for AL title.
Cubs - Phillies - Padres NL div. champs. Reds the Wild Card. Phillies over the Cubs for NL title.
Yankees in six for the World Series.
Close, but no cigar for our boys, but maybe next year..... Wood & Prior might be ready to go by then.
darryl m I concur with your evaluation of baseball season compared to watching basketball and hockey on tv baseball is just a step above watching bowling on tv. anyway here's one for the record books:
white sox win the AL penant
Cubs win the NL penant
world series can not be played due to unseasonal blizzard in Chicago and hell froze over
AL - Boston, Detroit, Angels and Yankees(WC)
Angels over Boston
NL - Mets, Dodgers, Cubs and Atlanta(WC)
Dodgers over Mets
World Series - Angels over Dodgers
Roman responds: As you'll see in this week's Sunday Drive feature, you're not the only one picking that World Series scenario.
Tim, I am cracking UPPP! Best post! I love watching the Sox!
AL Division winners - NY Stankies, Chicago White Sox, Angels (Wild Card: Minnesota)
NL Division Winners - New York Mets, St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Cubs (Wild Card: San Francisco Giants)
ALCS: Sox over stankies.
NLCS: Mets over Cardinals
World Series: White Sox over Mets in 6 games
I really have no idea at ALL!
Al: Indians, Red Sox, Angels, Rangers (WC)
Nl: Cubs, Phillies, Padres, Mets (WC)
Red Sox over Rangers; Indians over Angels; Red Sox over Indians
Cubs over Mets; Phillies over Padres; Cubs over Phillies
Red Sox probably win the World Series even though I love the Cubs. Their pitching is obviously better suited for the post season
AL- Division winners: NY Yankees; Chicago White Sox; Oakland A's; Wild Card, Toronto Blue Jays. ALCS- New York v. Chicago. AL Champ, ChiSox. NL- Division Winners: Florida Marlins; Chicago Cubs; LA Dodgers; Wild Card, Philadelpia Phils. NLCS- Cubs v. Dodgers. NL Champ, LA Dodgers. World Series Champ- CHICAGO WHITE SOX, 4 to 2.
I love that people are admitting that they have no idea what they're talking about. You see so many people act as though they know, and then at the end of the season they have it all (or mostly) wrong. Even the experts are lucky to get all their prediction 1/2 right. I don't think anyone knows besides perhaps an educated guess.
So here's my guess:
Boston, Sox, Angels, Tigers (WC)
Boston over Tigers
Sox over Angels
White over Red
Phillies, Astros, Dodgers, Padres (WC)
Padres over Phillies
Dodgers over Astros
Dodgers over Padres
WS: White sox over Dodgers in 6
Go go go go White Sox!
AL Division Champs: Yankees / Minnesota / Angels (White Sox WC)
NL Division Champs: Mets / St. Louis / Dodgers (Braves WC)
White Sox over Yankees / Angels over Minnesota
Mets over St. Louis / Dodgers over Braves
ALCS: White Sox over Angels
NLCS: Dodgers over Mets
World Series: White Sox over Dodgers in 5
White Sox win the World Series and then the next year the team is completely dismantled.
I know i'm right!
AL Division- Yankees, Twins, Seattle, Boston red sucks!(wc)
NL Division- Braves, Cardinals, Dodgers, Mets(wc)
Yankees over Twins
Seattle over Red sucks
Braves over cardinals
Dodgers over Mets
Yankees over Seattle
Braves over Dodgers
Yankees over Braves!
I know i'm right!!!
Funny how the Cubs are paying so much for Sorryano (misspelled on purpose), this guy is a total waste of money. If you are paying a player that much you would think he would be in the top ten of at least ONE of the batting categories. I guess he signed with the Cubs figuring it would be easy money. You after all are not expected to win in a Cub uniform, so its pretty easy money....no pressure at all...ha ha ha on the Cubbies and their pathetic fans once again.....The Season of Hope???? hahaha...
