Who would you give up for Pau Gasol?

Heinrich, Brown's contract, Tyrus Thomas and their #1...Memphis needs a point guard and a bigger forward to go with Rudy Gay.

Not the biggest Gasol fan. I would take one more run at Garnett...How could Minn pass up an offer of Deng, Heinrich, Tyrus Thomas, Browns contract and their #1 pick.
Garnett will leave after next year and they'll get nothing. Oh yeah...they're going nowhere WITH Garnett.
Move Gordon to point where he has done ok this year and pair him up with Sefalosha and Adrian Griffin in spots.
A front line of Wallace, Garnett and Noch...not too bad.

First I would really look at KG... he could be a free agent next year, but if you tell him he will have Ben Wallace and Deng on the wings, with Gordon and Hinrich shooting the ball from the perimeter, that's a very talented and competitive team for the next four - five years. I am sure he would stya for the long ride. As for Gasol, his strong suit is the Bulls weakness, low post scoring, but his defense for a seven foorter it still limited. That said, I would give up Tyrus Thomas/or/Nocioni, P.J. Brown, and all the draft picks they want for the next two years. Go Bulls!!!

Nocioni and #1 pick for Gasol - nothing more. We're not going to be foolish enough to give up Gordon, Hinrich or Deng for Gasol when that team is going nowhere and Gasol doesn't want to play in memphis. If we give up top notch goods, we're better off making a run at Garnett. Besides, our #1 pick could very well be better than Gasol. This year's draft is much better than last year's draft.

Tyrus Thomas, Sefalosha and future draft considerations (except this years' pick)should get this deal done. Memphis would have an outstanding young core that should develop better than the Bulls twin tower experiment. Memphis fans should fill the seats for another year or two while determining if their new core is legit or a bust. While Memphis drool over their new young core the Bulls get to keep their core and add a legit low post threat while hoping for one of the top two picks in this draft, courtesy of the New York Knicks.

draft picks obviously havent taken us to the next level...i say get rid of em....coupla 1st round picks (knicks and ours)...pj brown...and another young player maybe noch or duhon (even tho i dont wanna give up his tenacity and heart) that should get gasol...but think about garnett (like mr. woods said) w/ ben wallace deng gordon and hinhrich....tyrus comin off the bench....thatd be sick....but gasol would give us a lot of low post help which is what the bulls lack...ben wallace tho has not played 100 percent...look for hiim to step it up now after allstar break and look for the bulls to be ranked at least 3 or 4 in the east...

I wouldn't give up too much for Gasol. Pax knows what he is doing. He is building a core for the team to be competitive for several years. He saw first hand the building of the Bulls dynasty of the 90's. It takes time to build a winner. Gasol would fill a need for low post scoring , but that doesn't put the Bulls in the finals this year if they lose Deng, Gordon, Hinrich or Noce. If Pax can swing a deal without losing a core player, then great, but otherwise stick with what we have. Chemistry is a key element to winning. I trust Pax will do the right thing.
GO BULLS!!!!!!!!

Mr turnover duhon Mr clumbsy sefalosha Mr overrated thomas and pick or brown for garnett or du, sef and brown 4 gasol and then trade walace 4 chandler to fix the one mistake paxson made then we have a dynasty part 2

I think a lot of poeple here are over-estimating the Bulls' outlook and their roster value. They have to take a shot here and give up something to get something. At this point the Bulls are no better than a 4th or 5th seed with Det, Miami, Cle and even Orl with better matchups against them.
Make one last call to Minn and offer up 2 of their core players. If that doesn't work, do the deal with Memphis and give up Gordon or Heinrich plus Thomas and their #1 pick. You CANNOT play Gasol and Noch together in the front court - you have to keep Deng and hope you can piece a backcourt together.

Duhon,Sweetny, Sefalosha and a first round pick for Gasol or wait for KG to become a free agent. Nocioni's play off the bench has been obviously missed and his energy and toughness is essential to the Bulls. Thomas's shot blocking ability rivals Tyson Chandler's why bring him back? Thomas needs to harness his energy and maybe his attitude and play more under control but has the potential to develope into something special. No way do you give up Deng, Gordon and Hinrich even for KG.

give up tyrus, sweetney, garett, and our next year pick for gasol. thats all he is worth. i would keep all our core guys even duhon because they gel really well. everytime you keep bringing in more players all you are doing is messing up the flow its not worth it

i would make a offer at kg,not gasol kg would give you a chance at a championship, gasol give you a chance to beat toronto in the playoff. i would give up tyrus, sef, malik, our first round pick 2007 and 2008 for kg. if i need to i would offer hinrick also duhoun could handle the point put ben back to sixth man, start
duhoun and deng at gaurds, noci and kg at foward and ben at center
this well insure the bulls have one of the best starting defense five, and with pj and ben coming of the bench with khaylipa playing some small foward which i think he is better suited.this add up to trouble for anyone in the nba

This Bulls team may be built on "class", but what they lack is fire and personality. No leader. No emotion. Listen to Gordon and Heinrich in interviews. Cut and paste answers. They both have the personality of a wet mop and they never smile. The team plays scared. Ben Wallace can provide emotion and leadership, but he's very uncomfortable as a Bull, and is playing like a stiff. He needs a sidekick -- someone he can feed off of. For starters, let him wear his headband. It may liberate him. Gasol is not Robin to Big Ben Batman. Find that guy, please. Can we bring Cliff Levingston out of retirement?

Bulls as they are now are not a lock to get to the Eastern Conference Finals, let alone the NBA Finals. Gasol could take them to the next level, as he provides consistent scoring in the low post -- a glaring weakness on this team -- along with some rebounding and passible defense. What is that worth? Well, there is no way Memphis parts with him without getting a starting-lineup-ready player in return, along with salary cap balance (PJ) and at least one first-round pick. Once he is healed, that could be Nocioni. For me, Hinrich and Deng are the only untouchables.

This is the Cartwright trade all over again. The Bulls have to give up a popular player of value to get a true NBA big man. As you may recall giving up Oakley for Cartwright led to to 3 NBA rings. Pax has done a lot of clever things under difficult circumstances without tripping over his shoelaces as GM for the Bulls now he has to step up big time and make the gutsy move. As all-star good as Deng is looking NBA quality SF's is the most abundant desired skill set in this current version of the NBA. In contrast quality NBA big man rarely find their way to the trade market and if you are a good team you usually dont get a chance to draft one. On top of that the Bulls are thick at SF so Pax's choice is pretty straight forward. Accept that history is a road map trade Deng plus others for Gasol and lets get on with it. If Gasol is acquired Hinrich's value increases to the Bulls because an inside scorer needs a quality PG to him the ball as ofen as possible where he does the most damage. Also Deng does not have a history of being the go to guy in the clutch another reason to keep Gordon over Luol. Nocioni is the perfect SF to play alongside Gasol and Big Ben. Noc's physical play balances out Gasol's limitations as a defender for example maybe the two switch on defense on occasion. The Bulls also need to keep the Knick switch pick because even though they may be out of the picture to get one of the quality big guys in the draft still in the top ten they could probably replace Deng's skill set. The odds of getting KG are IMO remote so the logical move is to offer Jerry the thief West Deng, P.J.Brown and his attractive contract, Duhon as the Grizzlies need a guard, and either the Bulls 2008 1st pick or if neccessary Ty Thomas. Thomas is also a replaceable talent who IMO is at least 2 years away from being a consistent performer in the NBA. A top 10 rookie from this next draft class with 2-3 years of starting in a top college program could probably contribute more sooner than Thomas can. This trade makes sense because the skills potentially being traded are relatively easy to replace whereas the skills being added are not. Last but not least the two most important players the Bulls would lose out on by making this trade that being Deng and KG are not known for being 4Q closers and that is the skill the Bulls need most. Gasol and Gordon give the Bulls 2 damn good end of game finishers.

I also hve to mention this that, its been my experience that one of a jump shooters best friend is a low post passer. Any shooter will tell you when you are struggling with your shot a pass from the low post can be a real gift. You usually barely have to glance at the ball which allows you to square up and keep your radar on the basket. As you feel the ball press into your hand, you are all sqaured up to the basket so as you grip the and take a nice springy jump releasing the ball at the top of your jump all in one nice sweet motion. If a hot and cold jump shooter like Gordon gets a few of those a game he wont be cold for long. Make the deal Pax so another Chicago team can get to the Finals this year.

The guy that suggested trading Wallace to get Chandler back must be smoking some good stuff. The mistake was made by Jerry Krause trading Brand to get Chandler and the guy wanting to give Thomas, Sefalosha and all the 1st round picks for the next 2 years sounds like Ditka giving away all his draft picks for Ricky whatshisname. Giving Nocioni and/or Deng for Gasol would leave a hole in the Bulls Defense and energy from the bench. Duhon, Khryapa, Sefalosha and possibly a 1st round pick. I think it's about time Chicago came out on the right side of a Lou Brock for Ernie Brolio type trade.

Well, I would just as much see us go for Lewis or Okafor and maybe Eton Thomas. If we need to get Gasol, you would need to give up the 6'1" Gordon with the defensive liabilities. Yes he can win a game when he gets hot, but the defensive liabilites are so evident. Toss in Brown( did we really just give away Chandler!?!?!?!?!??) and probably Duhon. Maybe we can get Atkins as a throw in.

First and foremost you don't give them hinrich, gordon, deng or thomas. You DO give them noch, duhon and both our 1st round picks next year.Considering new york has done just enough to get themselves out of the top 5 picks no big lost to us .Plus this upcoming draft is top heavy and not too much after the top 10 picks what so ever.I agree with the push for KG but only with the same package. The foundation so strong for this bulls team why screw it up for a quick fix.

Those report from down here in Florida is PJ too old and slow, Sefolosha too wild and uncoachable, no discipline, Duhon no FIRE, too easy to post up on, can't handle the pressure to start the offense everynight, too streaky. AG too small inside,no vertical lift. Sweet's...enough said. Khryapa always out of position. Any addition will be welcome to fill the vacencies of any of these players.Let's run the floor!!!!!!!

I'd pass on gasol, wouldn't trade much for him at any rate. He's a complimentary player on a good team, he can score on a losing team but can't carry a team, so hard to say if he'd be any good in the clutch. He also plays really close to the floor, like with one foot usually on it. Not what you'd call a great leaper, or shot blocker, maybe average at best on defense. If just want someone to score from post, better off with deng and nocioni. Deng is still growing.

I would give up Heinrich or Gordon, Brown, Griffin and or Allen.
That's it. People who want to give up all the young players and draft picks are high.

KIRK HINRICH, P.J.'S expriring contract, SWEETNEY AND A FIRST ROUND PICK. Maybe NOCIONI in place of Sweetney but we'd surely miss his toughness.

Hinrich has reached his ceiling. I believe Thabo's ceiling is much higher offensively and defensively. Start him now with Gordon, Deng, Gasol and Big Ben.

This also makes it easier to resign Deng and Gordon with Hinrich's money off the books, with the addition of Gasol's contract.

Deng, Brown and next year's #1.
Everyone is so hung up on giving up Deng but the fact is we're too perimeter oriented a team right now.

I would much rather have a core of Gordon, Hinrich, Noch, Gasol and Wallace in the playoffs. And we still have a bench of duhon, thomas, and thabo.

This team will not be a title contender unless they get some low post scoring. Gordon, Hinrich and Gasol will give them all the scoring they need. And when wallace's deal ends, gasol can move up to the center spot (the east doesn't have much for 5's) and thomas will be ready to be the starter at the 4.

Its a heck of a lot easier to get a small forward than it is to get a big man that can score down low. We'll still have midlevel exceptions to use on 3's and can get some fairly decent players.

I agree with earl in tht Gasol would be a complimentary player to Wallace down low and could possibly take the Bulls to the next level but not at the expense of Noce or Deng or Gordon either. Sweetney or Brown along with Khryapa and Sefelosha or a draft pick is all he's worth. When the Bulls traded Oakley for Cartwright they had Horace Grant to take up Oakley's slack, right now no one has proven they can fill Nocioni's or Deng's spot on a nightly basis.

are you guys nuts? Deng, Heinrich, Tyrus Thomas, Browns contract and their #1 pick are you kidding me...and Tyrus Thomas/or/Nocioni, P.J. Brown, and all the draft picks they want for the next two years is absolute b_llshit! The most the bulls should give up is Duhon and Thomas and possibly a draft pick. I wold not touch Hinrich, Noc, Gordon or deng...this is the core of the team. If memphis don't take the offer then we do nothing. the team will get experience by making it to the eastern conference finals and we get the Knicks draft pick and would go for Greg Oden in the draft next year.

Don't trade for Gasol. Too often teams go for the quick fix, and it usually doesn't work out. Gasol will not help us win a title this year, or in the near future. I just can't see that happening. He hasn't even helped the Grizz win a single playoff game.
We have a good core of young players. Wait for the offseason...or for the right deal. No need to rush. They don't have to go for it this year, so might as well try for it in the future. Garnett is the only player we could trade for who would possibly help us contend for a title this year and that's it. No chance against the west this year or years to come if we trade for Gasol. Have to think in the big picture.

I get the feeling few people on this board know much...let's clear some things up:
- the Bulls have ONE pick this year NOT two - they can switch picks with the Knicks this year if they want
- Deng is good NOT great. When was the last time a team double-teamed him? Pretty much never
- Gordon and Heinrich playing together doesn't work. They do ok on offense but neither can guard opposing teams off guards.

Sooo...getting Gasol will help. Ideally they keep Deng and give up Gordon or Heinrich. In addition to Gordon/Heinrich, trade PJ Browns, Tyrus Thomas and a #1.
A front line of Wallace, Deng and Gasol would be as good as any in the game.

I would trade Gordon and Deng for Gasol if Memphis would throw in Mike Miller as well.

Everyone seems to be hell-bent on trading Tyrus Thomas. What has Thabo Sefalosha shown so far this year? Not nearly as much as Thomas has yet he's the more experienced player. Thomas maybe raw and his attitude may need some adjusting but I think it's too soon to be giving him away. As I recall many people felt the same way about Lamar Odom when he first came into the league and now he is a very important part of the Lakers. How bout showing a little patience and not make a trade for what appears to be a quick fix and see what developes into the off season.

hmmm....i believe this team cant keep hoping on next year. i want want to bulls to be the next new jersey nets of the east, of making playoffs and never winning the big games, alas karl malone and uath. same thing. we cant win a champion ship with our roster. yeah we havce a chance to get a good big man via new york pick. but then there the 1 or so of deveolpment for him. also no shooting team has ever won nba title since larry bird. look at all the past champions laker (shaq) spurs (ducan), miami (shaq), detroit (R. wallce), rockets (hakim), bulls dynasty (longly and cartwright)-not best but could score with backs to basket. every champion ship team who won the game has 9/10 TIMES WON FINAL WE NEEED A BIG MAN TO GO TO THE LAST DANCE. would i perfer kg of corse (he said he NEVER play in chi (NEVER) so hang it up. so gasol is only possible answer. no he not the best pf in league but on to the top 10 and w/18 points and 10 rebounds 2 1/2 blks a game hey hey might come in handy in playoffs. so if wwe want to win get him, of not we lose in 2nd round of playoffs when we are facing scoring inside teams. what would i give up for him... not kirk beyond steve nash is one of the best pure point gaurds in the league, and his defece is mountain better than gordons. noch no way he plays to hard and if u remember last years playoofs he was most consistance. deng will be one of best sf in league with 2 yrs. so with that said here what i would give.
1. gordon i love his scoring ability but not consistant and some game he aweful. his hight is a big liability and i cant figure out y he considered a sg not pg.
2. tyrus thomas there are always big men with lenth and no offence. do we really want anther chandler.
3.) p.j. just for his salary
1.) 1st round of 2009 draft. try to keep knicks cause they will surely destruct by year end and we have a top 10 pick, so give up 2009 pick.
4.)only if we have to duhon but we need to get someone they have like akins or somthin, if not isnt jay williams able to play again.

also since i gave u teams who won big games now i will give u teams who lost with a low post big man. dallas (dirk good but still a shooter), Suns (shooting never wins, but with amarie back look out for them this yr. nets not real post player and martin and kid overated, 76er no post player iverson can win by shooting 60 times, wizards high offewnce but cant post so they cant make it pasted 2nd round, sorry i love some of bulls, but i dont want to waitanother 2-3 yrs to get a big in draft and wait for him to develope, (he dont for get paul only inhis mids 20 and kg who i love getting passt him prime. well i guess thhat wraps it up

Noch, Duhon, Brown's contract and our #1 pick from NY. If the total of those contract's aren't enough, then throw in Sweetney's expiring contract. That could leave us a little short at center, but let's face it, someone else will just have to step up thier game. It can't be any worse than what we have now(Brown and Sweetney). That's it, take it or leave it. This team is too close with only one gap to fill (PF). Don't wreck it and give up too much, then you will have 2 or even 3 spots to fill, as well as putting yourself back in the lottery in a few years.
I trust that Pax will get this team in the Eastern final by next year at least, by not selling the farm.

Give up Deng or Nocioni if they settle for him. We have too many SF's and we can't play small any longer. We need an inside presence and Deng I think will top out in a couple of years. He will always be a solid player but never a superstar. Every team has a SF that is capable and the way the league is now, there are a ton 6'9" players with skills. Offer Deng, Brown, Sweetney for Gasol and D. Jones. Keep the 2008 pick to get another big man (i.e Horford, Noah)
PG: Hinrich, Duhon,
SG: Gordon, Jones, Sefolosha
SF: Nocioni, Kryrapa
PF: Gasol, Thomas
C: Wallace, Allen
Make a move Pax!!!

You going to have to give up for sure either Gordon or Deng. I think if gasol came here, Gordon would benefit the most, so I would give up Deng, PJ Brown, Duhon, #1 pick (conditional). You still have Noc and griffin at 3 spot. Thabo, Hinrich, Gordon is a pretty good guard rotation. Then Thomas, Wallace, Gasol, Viktor, Sweets, not a bad mix of bigs... Gasol isn't a superstar, but you don't need that much to make a push in the eastern conference.

People, People...this is really a simple fix. First off the art of making a trade like this is to give up as little as possible and and receive great value on your return. Forget giving up the Knicks #1 pick in the draft. That could turn into the young kid coming out of Texas Kevin Durant. I'd offer the following players and picks in a trade,

1. Mr. Sweeney, Mr. Khryapa, Mr. Brown, Mr. Duhon along with the Bulls #1 pick in the draft and future considerations.

2. Mr. Gasol is injury prone so why give up any of your core players and the future for someone who may not be on the court come money time (The Playoffs)and whose career could be shortened due to multiple injuries.

3. Forget about Gasol. Good player but doesn't stay on the court. Minnesota is headed towards a rebuilding stage so they're ripe for the pickings. Wait'll next year when they'll be in a desparate situation to receive something anything rather than allow Garnett to leave with nothing to show for it.

The max that I would give is Deng, Brown, Sweetney and either a top 3 or 5 protected 1st round pick this year or next years 1st round pick unprotected (we won't be a lottery team). While I think Deng might be our best all around player (with Hinrich) and probably has the most upside of any player on the team, the depth the Bulls have at the position (Noc) and the ease of finding a good 3, makes him the easiest to part with.

Offensively, we'd have a great inside - outside game with Gasol and Gordon, with Hinrich and Nocioni providing a spark as well. Defensively, Gasol would provide some size and I believe would greatly aid Wallace's efforts in rebounding and blocking shots.

I can see the argument to get rid of Gordon b/c of his size and defensive liabilities. But I think his offense is too important (no one can score like he can on the team), and the combo that he would provide with Gasol could be extremely hard for other teams to defend. I'd really hesitate to trade Hinrich...while he's pretty much unspectacular, he does everything well, runs the offense and is our best perimeter defender.

We'd have plus defenders in Wallace, Noc and Hinrich, and plus offense players in Gasol, Hinrich, Noc and Gordon. That'd be a very good starting 5, good enough I believe to take us to the finals where anything can happen. Finally, we'd still have some solid guard and forward depth in Sef, Duhon, Thomas, Allen, Khryapa, and Griffin.

However it goes down, I have faith that Paxson will make the right decision based on what his realistic options are. Go Bulls!

Tom L . please. I wouldnt trade hinrich for Garnett straight up. I say trade the 1st round picks for next two years and pj brown!! Or trade tyrus and the 1 st rounder and PJ brown. But Deng, Hinrich, Gordon, Nocioni, and Duhon are the core. I Like Tyrus' potentional but Gasol is a proven commodity.

Roman responds: Did you really say you wouldn't trade Hinrich for Garnett straight up? Wow.

IF this was Kevin Garnett we were talking about, then I would say the Bulls should make the leap and deal two key players (any combination of either Noce, Ben, Lu, or Kirk) After all, they'd be getting an All Star from a team that hasnt had one in years. But that isnt the case and if the Bulls feel like making a gamble I'd feel better about getting someone like Garnett rather than Pau.

Why was Sweetney the only player that didn't make it into last night's blow-out of the Hawks? Could it possibly be that Pax has engineered an outrageous deal like Sweetney and a couple future draft picks along with cash consideration for Gasol? Holy Cow Batman that would be grand larceny and Pax should be made Mayor of Chicago because even Daley couldn't steal an election that neatly! Oh well just doin a little dreaming time to wake up.

I suggested a trade earlier that is close to what Brian Hanley has reported as something Jerry West is considering. I suggested P.J. Brown, Deng, Duhon, Ty Thomas, Bulls 2008 1st pick for Gasol. Brian wrote the same list minus Brown with Nocioni instead of Deng. I am a little ambivalent about trading Nocioni in this deal for Gasol instead of Deng because I believe Noc and Big Ben in the frontcourt with Gasol would be a better defensive lineup but I hope Hanley is right because a Bull frontcourt of Ben, Gasol, and Deng sounds pretty damn good. This rumor is a little puzzling because it doenst include Brown's contract but maybe that isnt as important as it was reported to be by the NBA rumor mongers.

Pax might want to consider this deal Deng, Duhon, Ty Thomas, 2008 Bulls 1st pick and P.J Brown for Gasol and Mike Miller. Miller was the NBA's best 6th man last year and he would sure give the Bulls the scoring they need off the bench. This would give the Grizzlies 2 future stars, another 1st pick and even a little depth plus the all important salary relief. The Bulls would be a little light in the frontcourt but Malik Allen, Sweetney could be capable backups to Big Ben and Gasol.

lets think about this. gasol is not worth trading for. he is just another role player. why give up talent for a guy that will never get that much better. you are better off staying pat and stay how you are. the draft is loaded with big men. you got oden and you have durant. i want them in a bulls uniform. i would much rather have durant or oden then gasol. i do not want to give up deng gordon kirk or big ben. the bulls would just loose to much. the smartest trade we can do is stay how we are!

hey. im in the army in iraq and im paying close attention to the bulls. i would not trade any player for paul gasol. remember that garnett is going to be a free agent at the end of next year. call minnesota again and see what happens. if nothing goes through, just wait till garnett is a free agent. and also remember that paxon is very smart and knows what he is doing. GO BULLS.

I would not do a deal with Jerry West. He is KNOWN for getting the best of folks. Gasol wants out. I give him Pj, Tyrus, and a Pick. After that I hang up the phone. We will get a big man over the summer. Bulls best selling point will be their heart in the playoffs. This will be much like the NCAA tournament for the Bulls. We just want to make the playoffs, advance and play with unity and heart. I know we are not going to the finals, but we have to play like the old teams - with heart and pride. We have to get rid of Skiles too. His playoff preperation is not good. I think we need to change the atmosphere in chicago. Doesn't work for Utah and wont work for us.

I agree with Dwight (feb 19) & Ginney (feb 20) on players in a trade with Memphis and corresponding values.

Pax maybe making the classic mistake thus far of valuing his current roster beyond thier real capacity---he may want to peak at the Kenny Williams GM instruction book. We all love Kirk Hinrich; he's a terrific point, unselfish, hardworkiing with great instincts for the game. However, he is what he will ever be, while Deng, Gordon, and Sefolosha have tremendous up-sides that most every GM in the league can see. Kirk's value is right now!!! Jerry West knows that Hinrich will make every player on the Grizzles better. And West doens't need anymore skinny 3's or 4's--he needs veterans with court sense.

Kirk, PJ and a draft choice (perhaps, but not neccesarily a #1) should bring Gasol and Dahntay Jones (another athletic 6-6 guard from Duke who can shoot & defend)will give the Bulls the commodities they still lack: size & scoring in the post and size and quickness at the 2guard spot that will tutor Sefolosha. Memphis can throw-in Lawrence Roberts (6-9, 240) to fill out the roster for rebounding of the bench.

Anything short of this move will produce a 2nd round playoff ouster as this hard-working bunch is pushed to their very obvious limits against more atheltic and gifted players who will pound it down low offensively & defensively during that stretch. The Bulls can do this and still go after KG in the off-season or wait out the '07 and '08 drafts.

The trade deadline has passed - time to move on Roman! How about a blog where 'hawks fans can rant about how bad they are...especially Aucoin? Or who we think will be the Sox 5th starter? Or who should be the Sox starting CF/LF this year? Or by what date the Cubs will be out of playoff contention? Or what do we think of the Bulls NOT making a trade? This topic is dead, get it off the website and keep up with the times...

Thanks!

Yes the trade deadline has past and Paxson made the right move...no move...for the time being. Nocioni was sorely missed in the Detroit game sunday and may have made all the difference the Bulls needed to win that game. The Bulls have blown several 16 to 18 point leads this year and mainly due to not being able to cope with zone defenses which was quite evident in Detroit Sunday. Movement without the ball seems to stop whenever they face a zone defense...why?

I would trade Ben Gordon, Sweetney, and a future first round draft pick. If that doesn't get it then nothing else. But we are looking at the post scorer as our only weakness. Has anyone looked at the height of our backcourt and how they will be taken to task during the playoffs? We need another BIG guard.
