Give me a score, an MVP of the game and two sentences on how you think the game will unfold. Many of these will be published in the paper.

Bears 24, Seahawks 13. Desmond Clark MVP. Bears offense starts out cautiously and gains momentum as it goes on. Bears defense keeps the Seahawks in check the whole game.

SeaHawks winning 27-17...Too much fire power for the Bears this time...

Roman responds: Ok, now give me an MVP of the game and a sentence on how you think it will unfold. For example, Alexander runs for 150 yards and Rex throws 3 interceptions.

Bears 19 - Seahawks 9
Co-MVP's Robbie Gould/Nathan Vasher

A battle of defense and field goals and a game icing pick for a TD by Vasher late in the 4th.

Seahawks 13, Bears 10 - weather sounds like it will be brutal but it will be good enough for Rex to throw 2 picks. Seahawks will run Alexander 30 times and their kicker (who's more proven than Gould) will kick a game winner in the last minute.

Roman responds: Who's your MVP?

21-13. Benson MVP. Jones and Benson will divide series and after Jones soften them up Benson rides to glory. Rex won't stink too bad(14 for 22 175 yrds 1 TD 1 int) and the D will score on an INT.(R.Manning).Briggs force a fumble and Urlacher gets 12 tackles that the team will add an extra 6 on Monday. Alexander held to 50 with 21 carries. Hasselbeck 18-35 230 1 td 2 ints. Bet the house on that whole scenario. Go BEARS!!!

The Score: Bears lose in the first round again.

MVP: Possible MVP would be Desmond Clark or Thomas Jones. Exception is made for Brian Griese replacing Grossman to save the game.

I would say Tank Johnson, but I don't want the FBI, kicking in my front door...*smile*...

Unfolding of the game will be a cliff-hanger, fans throwing beer nuts, beer cans, empty pizza boxes at their new $3500.00 dollar Plasma screen TVs.

The real games will be played in each home with new plasma televisions, because the remote went through the screen.

Roman, lets make a bet to see who gets spit on first!...*smile*...

Bear down Chicago Bears!!

Lets go Bears!!

The Bears will come out hot, all excited and pumped up and will score first on a Grossman TD pass to Muhamed an a slant, the D gets a turnover to halt a scoring threat and Robbie hits from 45. After that the Bears go flat showing how poorly coached they are. The Seahawks make a game of it but Lovie is just too lucky and the Bears escape what should have been another loss and advance to the next game where their (our) season ends. Boooo crapily coached team, hooraaaay beer!
Bears 23-20. Urlacher MVP.

21-13 DA BEARS, Benson wins the mvp with 125 yards and 2 td's while briggs returns one for a td.

The Bears will destroy the Seahawks by 80 points, and it will be the biggest blowout in Bears Playoff History. The final score will be 90-10, where the first two drives will be field goals by Robbie Gould, followed by 7 players scoring touchdowns off 6 turnovers, Hester running back 3 punts for scores, and Benson, Jones, and Grossman each scoring 1 touchdown a piece. The Seahawks will be annihilated!

The Bears score 1 touchdown every 28 seconds to win by a final score of 896- 0. It is the biggest blowout in sports history dating back to the Roman Times!

BEARS 27 Seahawks 16. MVP will be Berrian with 1 score which will put the BEARS in the lead for good.
The "D" will bend but not give up touchdowns. BEARS "D" gets 2 picks and 1 fumble. And everyone everywhere will still be bitching about how not winning it convincingly enough against a team that was on their way out anyway.
Attitudinal BEARS take the wheel and drive their own bandwagon kicking off all the fairweather passengers, and armchair critics.

Bears lose 23-10 to bad

Roman responds: If you want this to make the paper, give me more, like the MVP, etc.

Bears should be able to handle Seahawks something like 21-16 .Rex must step it up or sit early .The defense must shake any injuries & find the D it had early in season. If Bears do happen to lose,Lovie has to be shown door for his stubborn coaching sticking with Rex too long .Plus it will be another one & done playoffs for Bears.

Blustery BEARS Stymie Seahawks! (again)

Restore the roar and pound that pigskin!

27-20
MVP- Robbie Gould

Seahawks 27 Bears 16 Bears are just an above average football team and Seattle has too much offense with a healthy Alexander. One more topic!!! Bears QB is still a rookie

After watching Hasselback pick us apart for the last half of the game. We were LUCKY to have a return for a TD.

Bears 10, Seahawks 23 (3 fg of over 40 yards for Josh Brown)

Score: Seattle 24, Bears 13 MVP: Matt Hasselbeck.

Early turnovers by Grossman through both interceptions and fumbles spot Seattle a fast 2 TD lead. Griese plays well, but cannot overcome the early collapse of Grossman.

Grossman will flop with the pressure and Holmgren will scheme a plan to exploit the Bears run defense. Hawks 17 Bears 9

It's quite simple really! With the bear defense reeling and no longer dominating, it's up to the offense and it's confused leader. If Grossman wears the "S" on his chest we win! If he wears the "L" on his forehead we lose!

Rex has one interception, Griese has two. The Bears lose 24 to ten.

MVP Hasslebeck

Seahawks 20 Bears 10
Hasselbeck will be mvp. Grossman will play poorly.

Bears get back to playing serious football after essentially 2 preseason games...Bears 31, Seahawks 17. Benson MVP.

I'm going to say a "poorly-coached" Bears team wins 20-17. Interceptions thrown by [insert Bears QB] lead to short fields, which Hasselbeck & company exploit for touchdowns; once the running game starts to pick up in the third quarter, however, the Bears are able to give the defense some rest, and they dominate the second half. Robbie Gould hits two clutch field goals in the fourth quarter, and takes home MVP honors.

Please give our little seahawks a chance against your big bad bears....

Roman responds: Where's your prediction?

Seahawks 24 - Bears 13

Hasselbeck 22-30 275yds 3-TD 0-INT

Alexander 27 carries 161yds

Grossman 8-25 115yds 0-TD 3-INT

Jones 24 carries 69yds

Benson 10 carries 57yds

Coach Smith finally puts Griese in with 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter with the Bears down 21 to 6 and he leads the Bears on a long drive for a touchdown but the Seahawks drive down the field on the next possesion using up 5 of the remaining 6 minutes and kick a field goal.

Bottom line - the Bears have not stopped the run in the last two months, and the pass in the last 6 weeks. Seattle will have a field day. The coaches will again stubbornly stay with Grossman until it's too late.

Coach Rivera and Coach Toub will leave, Coach Smith will get a five year extension and we will see this same futility through 2011 (win the division, lose in the first round).

It's the Bears...Against the SeaHawks... Bad Rex will show up. Griese will be worse. 38-13 Seahawks. And I am a Bear fan.....

Bears 35 - Hawks 10
Gross Rexman MVP
Bears will come up pumped up & ready to play. Total domination by Da Bears!

Seahawks 24 Bears 7
MVP Matt Hasselbeck passes for 280 yds and two touchdowns.
Shaun Alexander rushes for 110 yds and 1 touchdown. Rex Grossman becomes the first quarterback in history to have a negative 50 passer rating. Bears collapse under the pressure of another playoff game. Tank Johnson trades in his hand guns to purchase an actual tank to protect his new body guard. Rex Grossman gets into the Hall of Fame for worst quarterback ever to play on a number one seeded team. The 7 points scored by the Bears come by defense or Special Teams.

Seattle 24 Chicago 21

Bears 41-13. Like the Colts, they put their late-season struggles behind them and play a dominant game. Grossman throws 2 TDs, defense scores one, Benson-Jones-Gould account for the rest of the points. Orton gets in at the end.
Of course, this will do little to silence the sniping fandom who inexplicably keep questioning Lovie Smith's coaching ability. Perhaps they'd like to return to the days of Wannstedt and Jauron, where we were happy to sniff the playoffs once every 5 years or so. Ridiculous.

Roman responds: "Sniping fandom" ... like it. And then you use the correct pronoun "who" afterward. Well played.

24-21 Seahawks. Alexander or Brown, MVP. The Bears will lead until the very last minute and then the Seahawks will inch by them with a field goal in the last 30 seconds...like they've been doing all season.

Seahawks 34 Bears 13. Bad Rex doesn't show for one game only. He is usually here for 3-4 games. He'll end up with a 13.3 QB rating and have 4 turnovers.
Without Brown and Harris, the Bear's defense is average at best. Alexander will run for 175 + yards and score 2 TD's. The Seahawks' D will score a couple of times off two of Grossman turnovers. The other two will result in Seattle field goals.

Bears 31 Seahawks 10

MVP Cedric Benson

Rex is inspired by Gators play in BCS bowl. Plays adequately, doesn't hurt team. Throws one TD and 200 plus yards. Throws his stinger and finally connects. He's been real close lately. Benson and Jones have good day, and secondary is playing well with starters back. If the Colts can play that good, after a whole year of sucking, the Bears will do it too! Give me some big hits by Urlacher, strip a couple for turnovers, and on to Championship game. Those who remember history are not condemned to repeat it!

Seahawks 27 Bears 7
Grossman is not Jim McMahon. Hester gets the only TD for the Bears. Hasselbeck throws for 2 TD's, Alexander Rushes one.

Bears 27 Seahawks 10
The bears find their game and roll.Urlacher and Briggs will have A big game ON D and Grossman YES I SAID GROSSMAN WILL HAVE A BIG GAME AS WILL THOMAS JONES

Bears 31 - 9

Seahawks move the ball early a few times but are held to field goals. The Bears run the ball up and down the field the first few possessions until play action pass to Desmond Clark over the middle or Moose on a corner route.

Second half they'll put 8 in the box and they'll play action pass deep to Berrian.

One defensive TD and one return TD.

MVP will be whichever Bear gets the most carries, hopefully CB.

Peace,
Mike B. (mike b dot)

Grossman doesn't like the cold so the running game is the only way the Bears can win. Jones and Benson pound the ball for 200+ yards. The Bears defense finally stops the run and scores one touchdown. Alexander gets hurt early and the Bears go on to win 17 to 10 only if they don't turn the ball over. Turnovers could decide the winner as well as one big play by Hester.

Seahawks 10
Bears 31

Grossman 17/25 306yds 2td 0 int

Benson 13 rushes 56yds 1td

Bears 27 Seahawks 6

MVP: Rex Grossman

The "good" Grossman shows up and picks apart the Seahawk's secondary to help the Bears establish an early 2 TD lead. Jones & Benson take over from there. The defense dominates reminiscent of the first half of the season. Elizabeth Hasselbeck cries & whines to Rosie Monday on The View.

Bears 59 Seahawks 14. Grossman 19 of 24 for 300 yards, even, with 3 TD's an zero picks. This is the real Grossman. Bizarro Grossman never to be seen again. Thomas Jones 122 yards on 18 carries 2 TD's. Cedric Benson 156 yards on 11 carries 1 TD. Adriean Peterson has significant contribution including catching one of Grossman's TD's. Urlacher runs back a pick for a TD and Hester starts the whole thing off by running back the opening kick-off for six. Robbie Gold's one field goal occurs on the Bears only 4th down in the red-zone.

I sleep really well Sunday night.

Bears 27 Seahawks 6

MVP - Peanut Tillman

Peanut will have 2 picks (one for a TD) and the defense will hold Seattle to 2 field goals. Grossman will play cautiously and the running game will dominate for the Bears.

seahawks 23 bears 13
MVP Shawn alexander...30 carries for 125 yards and two touchdowns.Grossman will go to the NFL record books as the winnest quarterback with a passer rating of 0.0. Grossman will throw for three interceptions and zero touchdowns. Brian urlacher will have the only bears touchdown and robbie gould will kick two field goals

I would hope the Bears have a chance in this Game. But it's unfortunate...Rex will not show up ..As he hasn't in some of the other Big Games !! He is not ready to lead the Bears to a SuperBowl Victory.. 13 wins...How many of those games were actually won by The Defense !?? Its sad but true....The Bears will lose this game 24-17. Maybe Lovie will look at another QB In the off season. But.....I cant help but say this...GO BEARS !!!!!

BEARS 35, SEATTLE 13. THE SEAHAWKS ARE TIRED AND THIS WEEKEND PROMISES TO BE "THE CEDRIC BENSON AND THOMAS JONES SHOW" AS CHICAGO'S RUNNING GAME DOMINATES THIS GAME. CEDRIC BENSON WILL DEMONSTRATE WHY THE BEARS DRAFTED HIM; HE'LL HAVE A TERRIFIC GAME AS THE BEARS WILL RUN FOR OVER TWO HUNDRED YARDS. SEATTLE HAS A WEAK SECONDARY AND SEAHAWKS COACH, MIKE HOLGREM WILL PROTECT THE SEATTLE SECONDARY. HOWEVER, THIS STRATEGY BACKFIRES AS THE BEARS ESTABLISH A VERY DOMINANT RUN GAME. AT HALF-TIME, SEATTLE WILL MAKE ADJUSTMENTS, BUT THE BEARS WILL CONTINUE TO RUN AGAINST AN EXHAUSTED SEATTLE DEFENSE. AS FOR REX GROSSMAN; HE WON'T HAVE A BAD GAME. DON'T EXPECT A DOMINANATING PERFORMANCE BY GROSSMAN, BUT HE WILL THROW FOR A COUPLE OF CHICAGO TOUCHDOWNS. BEAR FANS, YOU'LL ENJOY THIS GAME AS THE BEAR DEFENSE HAS A VERY NICE DAY AGAINST THE SEAHAWKS.

Bears captivate Chicago for 45 minutes before turning the ball over and giving up two easy touchdowns at the end of the fourth. Gould gets two. The score puts Seattle, up 24-20, over the Bears until Grossman tosses a split screen with a minute left to Thomas Jones and he marches in for a touchdown. 27-24.

Hester is MVP because other than Jones and Tillman, on a Jeramy Stevens fumble, he is the only Bear to score.

The Hawks are ready to make a run and there is nothing the pathetic #1 seed of the NFC can do! The Hawks will control the ball easily with the void of Tommie Harris who killed us the first game. Shaun will go for around 130 and a touch in a Hawks 24-20 victory. Then it will be on to The Big Easy where the Saints will run into the buzz saw that is the HAWKS!!!!!

BEARS 24 Seahawks 13

Grossman will look like our QB again and throw for two touchdowns. Jones and Benson will be ridden hard in the middle of the field. Alexander will run for over 125 yards but won't be able to punch it in. Urlacher's return TD late will split the MVP with Grossman.

THE BEARS WILL WIN BIG 48-0
JONES AND BENSON RUN WILD ALL OVER SEAHAWKS AND DEFENSE HAS MANY SACKS AND MANY INTERCEPTIONS. HASSELBACK WILL BE WORSE THEN ROMO AT END OF GAME AND HOLLGREM WILL YELL AT HIS TEAM. GO BEARS SEE YOU IN MIAMI

Seahawks will run over the Bears 34-14. The Bears, like the Ohio state Buckeyes will look confused and overconfident and it will show all throughout the game. The SeaHawks with their superbowl experience will rise up to the occasion. MVP of this game belongs to Deion Branch with 8 catches for 130 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Seahawks-17
Bears-10

MVP-Deion Branch

Hasselbeck will make a clutch touchdown to Stevens like he did with the cowboys. Hawks defense will put Rex in a must-score situation where he'll choke, GO SEAHAWKS!

Bears 30
Seatlte 27

MVP: Robbie Gould

Seatle dominates the first half. The Bears defense steps up in the second half. Grossman plays well. Robbie Gould wins it in overtime.

Bears 23 Seahawks 0. Defence comes back to life,Paris Hilton,I mean Rex Grossman shows up with a hangover and throws a 1 yard pass to Jones that goes for a 99 yard touchdown!Afterwards the real Paris Hilton shows up and says Grossman threw a 99yard bomb! He's my idol!During the game all you see Lovie doing is mouthing the words "REX IS ARE QUATERBACK" "REX IS ARE QUATERBACK!

The BEARS will finally make it past their first game on theri way to the Super Bowl.Rex will show once again he can shake off a bad game and prove to alot of people he is ready for prime time, with TD and no pics he will be the MVP of the game BEARS 27- seahawks 13

Bears 34 Seahawks 20.

M V B Grossman 20-39 280 3 TDs one pick.

One bomb to Berrian, one to Bradley, Benson 20 rush 85 yds 1 TD. Gould 2 FGs 1 miss. Jones 18 rush 70 yds. Hasselbeck has decent time in pocket, but no one to throw it to. Alexander has 80-100 rushing and 1 TD, no turnovers by special teams of Bears(big). Blitz package is timely, Bears switch to elephant defense at times to stop run, and offensive line plays a huge game(I love line play). No Brown or Harris is good for ten points for Seahawks.

Seattle 18 - Chicago 11

MVP- Jeremy Stevens

Chicago will rally to tie the game at 11-11 with about 3 minutes left in game. Then, on the Seattle final drive, Urlacher will forget about Stevens and he will score on a 40 yard TD.

Alexander will get about 50 yards rushing and Rex will throw 2 ints that Seattle will fail to do anything with

Score: Seahawks WIN Bears LOSE. Bears unpredictable offense continues. Seahawks recover three Grossman fumbles and intercept two passes in blowout win. MVP Seahawks depleted defense.

BeARS 28 sEAHAWKS 10 THE WIND AND SNOW ON SUNDAY WILL BE TOO MUCH FOR THE HASSELBECK, NO THROWS OVER 1O YARDS WITH TEH WIND. bENSON WILL BE mvp WITH 183 YARDS ON THE GROUND, jONES WITH 100

Bears have had too much rest just like Ohio state come out flat and lose by 7

Bears 40, Seattle 13. Bears strike early and often against a weak Seattle secondary, neutralizing Alexander. Rex Grossman MVP with 300+ passing, 4 TDs, no INT.

Love all of the optimism but as a life long Bears fan who pulls for "Da Bears" every week I can't help but feel that Rex Grossman will blow it for all of us big time. For such a young guy who has acheived so little he appears to have a tremendous ego, always trying to be the "hero" by throwing dumb passes, not dumping the ball out of bounds when he needs to to avoid a sack or an interception and generally trying to score a touchdown on every play. You can call him a "gun slinger", I will call him what he is, a selfish "hot dog" who needs to be the center of attention and can't do what it takes (avoid stupid mistakes) to let the running game and the defense win the game.

Equal blame for what I see as an impending fiasco should go to Lovey Smith, The Adult who just can't say no to his pet Quarterback.

After all of this, I will also say that I will be watching every second of the game Sunday, pulling for my team and hoping that I am proven to be wrong. Let's hope that I am. However I fear that I am not. GO BEARS!!!

Seahawks: 31 Bears: 10...MVP: Hasselbeck or Jeremy Stevens. Rex Grossman is a joke and will throw 3 picks and one of them to Pete Hunter. The overratted Bears will be overwhelmed by the Seattle patchwork defense.

Hawks-17 Bears-10
Grossman is still weak he'll throw 2 pics to an iffy secondary that will show up hopefully with trufant back. Bears D will keep them in it but hasselbeck will throw 2 tds and for 260 yds being the MVP. Alexander will rush 19 times for 72 yds, he still hasnt found a groove. Brown will kick a late field goal to pull the lead up by 7

Da Bears! win 23 - 17.
Bears come out and establish the running game (to let the Rexinator settle in) Then go on to having a good passing game as well.
MVP will be DH with a punt return TD.
As long as DA BEARS! win. It has been GREAT to watch so many of thier games for once. Not being at home (Military) when they do good all of thier fans can enjoy our SUPER BOWL Run and WIN.

Seahawks 38
Bears 14

Lovie the wonder coach sticks with Wrecks the wonder QB. This brain trust combo yields yet another one and done.

Fire Lovie, promote Chico and for the love of god, get us a QB. The rest of the team deserves better! Heck, so do the fans. Wrecks is terrible and Lovie is too full of Wrecks love to know any better!

41 to 7 Bears-Devin Hester will be mvp. Game over by halftime.

Turner will come out throwing because a.) he is trying to get Rex into a rhythm and b.) the Seahawk secondary is hurting. As usual, Rex comes out too jacked up and can't hit the broad side of a barn and the Bears go 3 and out in their first 3 possessions. Meanwhile, the Seahawks spread the Bears out and without Brown and any pressure from the line they dink and dunk it down the field and score a touchdown and field goal in their first 3 possessions. Briggs forces a fumble and the Bears get good field position, but just get a field goal. They trade possessions the rest of the half so the score at halftime is 10-3. In the second half, the Bears make no adjustments at all so with all the throwing Rex starts throwing INT’s, which leads to 13 more points for the Seahawks. The Bears go to the running game too late and get a field goal off a turnover and 1 Benson touchdown late the rest of the game. Final score is 23-13 Seahawks with the MVP being Hasselbeck with 250+ yards and 2 TD’s. I hope this doesn’t happen. Ideally, the Bears run A LOT and play field position early to get a feel for the game, but I just don’t see this coaching staff coming up with a gameplan to match Seattle’s.

24 -14 Seattle

A repeat of last years Carolina game. Bears defense on the feild way too long. Alexander runs down the defense for 150. Rex is "unpreppared" again, must have been out returning Chrismas gifts that didn't fit. He throws 11-27 197 yards, one TD, 3 Pic's...Way to go REX...Bears score a defensive TD... Typical...

Bears 23, Seahawks 10

Rex Grossman comes out of his meditation of late and gets the job done! Then Lovie will have a big grin and all the local vendors can sell more stuff.

Can anyone please explain 2 me how Rex is still playing in the NFL?

Seahawks 35, Da'Cubs 17

Paybacks are hell. MVP Hasselback will put on a passing clinic completing 25 of 27 with 2 TDs while Alexander's 21 carries nets 145 yards and 3 TDs. Seahawks go on to win the Superbowl despite the sportswriters carping.

Bears win 27-14
Jones MVP gains over 100 yards.
Moose scores 2 TDs

Rex comes out pissed off and firing showing the whole world why we are 13-3. The whole on-again-off-again issue is a ruse to give our opponents a false sense of well-being. Throwing for over 450 yards and 4 TDs Rex is MVP. Defense is all heathly now (except for Brown and Harris) and hungry. 5 Seattle turnovers set the stage for a 42-3 Bears blowout in the first step of our march to the Superbowl.
GO B E A R S!!!!!!!!

Hawks-17 Bears-10
MVP-Hasselbeck:20-29 240 yds 2tds

Hawks will pull this out with their iffy defense that COULD show up and Grossman will be his normal self throwing 2 ints. Ground game will keep the bears in it until the fourth where it will be 14-10 and brown will notch in a field goal for the 7 point win. Bears defense cant do it all and the hawks secondary can cover the bears recievers as they did with Owens and Glenn holding each reciever under 60 yards

Bears will play angry.
Urlacher & Briggs Co MVP
Bears want it more and will take it with aggressive play on both sides of the ball.
23-6

Bears 34
Seahawks 23
A "controlled" Rex will pass for 14, running game will add 7, defense 7 and Gould has 6 pts. Matt's arm and Alexander can only gain 14; FGs account for other Seattle points. MVP: Grossman.

Seahawks 20, Bears 17
Josh Brown kicks game winning field goal and is game MVP. Alexander and Stevens combine for 14. Grossman throws for two picks before getting pulled at half-time. Seahawk secondary, although beat-up easily contains Bears pathetic passing attack.

the bears will be like the bears of old, like Nagurski, Luckman, bulldog Turner and the rest and win by 13-0 Whoever heard of a seahawk that could run or pass?

Seahawks 31, Bears 13

Matt Hasselbeck destroys the Bears wimpy nickel defense by connecting for 2 TD's to Jeremy Stevens and 1 to Darrell Jackson. Shaun runs for 130 yards and score a rushing TD. Rex Grossman throws 2 picks and is the losing goat for Choke-ago.

Bears by 100.
MVP=Ditka

Bears win 27-13. Rex DOES NOT turn the ball over. All are stunned into silence at this fact. Seahawks are good on paper, bad on the field.
MVP - Hester

As a long time Seahawks fan, I can't help but expect a letdown, hell it nearly happened on Sunday. As much as I'm expecting Seattle to loose, I dont see it happening this game.

Seattle has played more cold weather games than chicago this season, and the cold will just make Grossman's passing even worse, and will fall in line with Alexander dominating for most of the game.

I dont see it being a blow out, but it will be decided by a field goal by seattle's cluch kicker.
Im saying 17-16 Seahawks with Alexander as MPV.

Bears 27, Seahawks 20.
MVP - Devin Hester.

Bears are losing 14 to 20 going into the 4th where Devin Hester runs back a 67 yard punt return for a TD to put the Bears up by one then TJones and Benson carry the Bears down the field with TJones scoring with 2:47 left in the 4th qtr. The Bears D takes over on downs with less than a minute left around the 50 year line. Welcome New Orleans to Chicago baby!

Seahawks win 27-17. Big play Babs, Jordan Babineaux picks off Grossman twice bringing one back for a TD. Shaun Alexander runs for 110 yards and 2 TDs. And Matt Hasselbeck plays a good game with no INTs and 1 touchdown to Jerramy Stevens

BEARS 27
SEAHAWKS 24

It won't be blow out and it'll come down to the "GOLDEN BOOT" of Gould. Lovie and the Bears have learned their lesson from just last year and won't make the same mistake this year by moving guys from their respective positions but allowing the guys to play; and besides that I can't see Urlacher continuing to allow his team to fall short! So look for Urlacher being a beast on and off the field and really letting Grossman have it should he begin to fall short.

Bears should win easy. But it's gonna be cold with snow and/or sleet, so the lil fellar will need to wear his mittens. Bears 21 seahawks 20, Griese MVP.

The Bears may start out strong, giving their fans a false hope that they are actually a qualified playoff team. It's hard to beat ( soundly ) a team twice, as demonstrated on NYE; therefore, ( and I hate having to let my family and friends down )I have to say Seahawks win by 10. My choice for MVP is anyone who can convince Lovie to take Rex out of the game after his first interception, thereby avoiding embarrassing Grossman and not having to hear his lousy excuses in his post game interview.
I bet the Packers would win if they were in the playoffs.....;)

Roman responds: Actually, your prediction should have been whether stats-hungry Brett will play another season. We all know records are what's important to him. And by the way, while I was off in my prediction of the Bears going 9-7, I did predict correctly your Packers would win Dec. 31 at Soldier.

Hawks 27
Bears 20

MVP-Hasselbeck
Seattle will pass to set up the run...Early passes to Stevens in the middle of the field will free up Branch and Jackson on the outside..Engram will score 2 td's, Alexander 1 td and will rush for 103 yds with one run of 43yds. Bears will score on special teams. Seattle will win TO battle 2-1. Weather will not be a factor as Seattle has played in colder , wetter, snowier and windier weather than the Bears. Seattle is a different team than it was Oct 1 (no Alexander, Stevens and Engram was sick)

Bears win 34-17
Rex has his best game
20-27 257 yards, 2tds, 0pics
Thomas Jones and Cedric Benson combine for over 170yards rushing, and the Defense shut down Seatle until the 4th qtr. Bears Respond after being overlooked by fans and media. Hey, someone has to be optimistic! Oh and Rex is the MVP.

Score: Seahawks WIN Bears LOSE.
Seattle recovers three Grossman fumbles and intercepts him twice in route of Bears. MVP: The depleted Seahawks defense.

Bears 24 Seahawks 13
Rex goes for 195 yards, 1 TD 1 INT. Bears Running game gets 175 yards and 2 scores. Seahawks WR's cant get open all day and Alexander scores their only touchdown thanks to good field position on the Grossman INT. Bears Defense plays well but only has 2 sacks of Hasselbeck.

Bears win 45-0. Bears defense dominant. Won`t let Seattle offense past its own 45.Briggs,Urlacher have mulitple sacks. Grossman has his best day ever going 27-35,300 yds, 4 TD passes. Jones and Benson both run for over 100 yds. and each have a TD run. MVP honors will be shared by the defense.GO BEARS!

Bears 27 Seahawks 17 as Rex Grossman flourishes and throws 3 TD passes and 291 yards and Ulacher makes 2 sacks and has a downtown smack you in the face on the Seahawks running backs (Alexander) and Rex and URE are named co-MVP's

Seahawks..20-6

Bears can't get offense going..Rex throws 3 picks..

Bears again show that they can't play very well in Bear's weather

Seahawks 23-6..

a virtual replay of Packers game.. Bears have less than 100 yards passing and Seahawks take advantage of 4 Bear turnovers to post an easy win...

Bears 19 Seahawks 14
MVP Cedric Benson
Grossman 11-25 167 yards o TD 1 Int
Bears Rely on power running of Benson to control the clock and keep Seahawks O off the field. Bears defense bends but does not break. Alexander runs for 83 yards and 1 score. Bears hold Seahawks to 289 yards of offense.

BEARS 27 Seahawks 16. MVP will be Berrian with 1 score which will put the BEARS in the lead for good.
The "D" will bend but not give up touchdowns. BEARS "D" gets 2 picks and 1 fumble. And everyone everywhere will still be whining about how not winning it convincingly enough against a team that was on their way out anyway.
Attitudinal BEARS take the wheel and drive their own bandwagon kicking off all the fairweather passengers, and armchair critics.

Seattle 21, Bears 17. Chicago will be unable to capitalize on Seattles' weakened secondary because of the forecast high winds and icy conditions. Rex Grossman will throw two picks under duress and then go to Benson and short passes to Desmond Clark, yielding only two TDs. Seahawks will score on those two turnovers by Grossman.

Bears 34 - 0. Seahawks have no first downs in first half. Urlacher MVP. Complete domination by Bears. Seattle looks lost and befuddled.

The Bears win 27-13.

The defense starts off hot with a sack by the rejuvenated Tank Johnson. Todd Johnson or Peanut gets a pick and considerable runback to end the She-hawks first series. The Bears score 7 on a 18-yrd Cedric Benson rumble off-tackle, and the Monsters are on their way.
Grossman regains his confidence and isn't put on his back during the first half-- leading to the Bears having a 10 point lead at halftime.
The defense bends but doesn't break, with Hunter Hillenmeyer coming up with a red-zone pick in the fourth quarter. That kills the last of Seattle's spirit.
Bears win : 27-10.
MVP -- Hillenmeyer or Lance Briggs.

28-14 Seattle. Grossman will not blow it it will be the defense.

Bears 31 Seahawks 17

Again, as in the previous game, it's "No Contest" as the Bears pummel the Seahawks, Thomas Jones runs all over them, Grossman hits Berrian, Muhammed, and Clark with ease, the Defense led by Urlacher kicks Shaun Alexander to the curb and rattles Matt Hasselbeck on almost every play---MVP? None other than Rex Grossman!!

Here are my predictions Rex will not turn the ball over. The Bears will run the ball 37 times for 200 yards. Rex will throw 1 td pass. Benson will have a bone crunching block on a pass play that everyone will be talking about. Look for Devin Hester to be used on offense but as a decoy in the first half, which will pay off in the next game. However he will not run back a Kick as the Seahawks will not allow it to happen by kicking out of the end zone. Urlacher and Briggs will combine for 21 tackles and 2 sacks. Sean Alexander will have 98 yard and a td, but will fumble the ball and be knocked out of the game by a vicious hit. Tank Johnson will be double teamed all day which will leave Ian scott open for a big day, also the bears play a swich on defense having Alex Brown play DT and the rookie Marc Anderson who had 7 sacks this season will be brought in to play DE on a few plays. The first half it will result in a sack for Anderson, in the second half Hasselback will notice this and call a time out.
The Bears will be conservitive I will say that the bears will win 24-21, on a Gauld field goal in the middle of the 4th quarter and the deffense will hold the Seahawks, who will be playing without, Alexander for most of the second half of the game.

I'm going to stick with my first prediction and say the Bears lose 24 to ten. I might be generous and bump the Bears up to 17.

"Coach Rivera and Coach Toub will leave, Coach Smith will get a five year extension and we will see this same futility through 2011 (win the division, lose in the first round)."

"Fire Lovie, promote Chico and for the love of god, get us a QB. The rest of the team deserves better! Heck, so do the fans. Wrecks is terrible and Lovie is too full of Wrecks love to know any better!"

Don't fire Lovie Smith. The Bears failed under Dick Jauron and they won't win in the playoffs under Lovie this year. The only common variable between the two is the Bears general manager, Jerry Angelo. Fire Angelo instead.

Lovie is the greatest coach in the NFL this season. He took three inexperienced QBs and a defense that hasn't been quite as effect this year and he put them in the playoffs at 13-3 with a first-week by.

Any team in the NFC (at least) would be glad to have him leading their team (Dolphins anyone?). If the Bears don't pay him a lot more when his contract comes up to compensate for paying him so low this year, he'll be gone before you can say "one-and-done". From then on we'll be dealing with 7-9 seasons against NFC teams again.

Bears 17-10. Rex is solid, Defense keeps Seahawks guessing. MVP is Rex.

Bears 31-20 over the Seahawks. Final Stats. Grossman goes 12-18 for 226 yds 1TD and 1INT. Jones/Benson Run for 186yds 2TD's. Defense scores the last TD.

GO BEARS!

Seahawks will win a close game 17-13 , by a field goal from Josh Brown who is so far had made 3 winning games by a field goal. Mike Holmgren is a better coach in play off than Bears's coache. He remembered the regular season game at Chicago ( 37-6), I don't think he will find the ways to revenge this past game. Seahawks's quaterback has more experiences in play off than Grossman. Shawn Alexander is much better when run the ball in cold temp. Shawn will be MVP.

Seahawks win 23-3.
Seattle shuts down Chicago's running game, making Grossman try to beat them through the air. Grossman throws three interceptions and fumbles the ball to Seattle once. Despite boo birds, coach Lovie Smith refuses to replace Grossman.
Conversely, Chicago's front four gets no penetration, enabling Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck to sit in the pocket and pick out open receivers at will. As Chicago secondary drops back to protect against the pass and Chicago's front four gets tired, running back Shaun Alexander will rip up Chicago's defense, getting more than 100 yards easily.
The only reason it doesn't become more of a blowout is the bad weather.

bears 20-7 mvp bears defense, shutting down the seahawks allowing a td by alexander who only runs for 50 yds, bears will be feroicus

Bears 24-14. Gould will miss 2 field goals, but hit a big one at halftime.

Thomas Jones and Ced Benson will be keys. The weather will be ok-windy though. Tight End Clark comes alive.

Rex will be consistent and hit a long bomb when db slips.

Go Bears!

Roman responds: If he kicks at halftime, does it count?

Seahawks 17
Bears 9
Rex Grossman has a horrible start and is benched in the second quarter. Griese doesn't do much more and Hassleback throws a td to Deon Branch and Shawn Alexander runs for another. MVP goes to Alexander with 125 yards rushing 45 yards recieving and the one td.

bears 24 seahawks 13
Cedric Benson mvp will have 80 yds rushing at half with a game total 130yds. 2 tds.

Bears lead 14-3 at half.

Rex has an unspectacular day 13/26 185 yds. 1td/int

The Bears have already lost when they did not allow any competition for the most important position on the field. The quterback position. Not to mention that no other teammates seemed to mine not having the best available person on the field. MVP Mike Holmgren.

Seattle 34 Bears 24

Tommie Lee Harris out Shaun Alexander in. Why Bears won in October and why Bears lose in January.

Seahawks 17-13
MVP: Shawn Alexander
I would think , Mike Holmgren will have a better ways to revenge the past game.
Chicago Bears lately isn't good as they did in first 10 games. Seahawks has chances to beat Bears if Matt plays a bit smatter. With 4 receivers plan , Chicago would make a lot mistakes and open room for Shawn to run the ball. Grossman will have to open an eye on the guy 27 ( Babs) he was Cowboys's killer.

repost- Nice work suntimes. mixup of my post with brent's post. thank god the suntimes doesn't run the bears.

Rex plays like he does in the beginning of the year and defense only allows 1 field goal.

24-21 Seattle. Alexander MVP. Close game but Holmgren doesn't get flashy and sticks to a ground attack. Up here in Seattle, we believe we're the team of destiny-its our year, F last year and SBXX was a long time ago. You have the curse, won't end this year either. Join the 12th man!

Bears 27 - Seahawks 13
Bears defense dominates Seattle, forcing 3 turnovers and scores once. Weather forces Bears to run the ball, which they do effectively with both Jones and Benson each scoring. Robbie hits two. Seattle's offense scores once on a long pass play over the middle, but are shut down the rest of the game. MVP is the the entire Bears defense.

Bears 31 - seahawks 10
Rex with QB rating over 100 and one long TD pass...Berrian or Bradley. Hester with a cameo on offense. Also a pick by each Manning. Easy win.

Other than last year Mike Holgrem hasn't been crap in Seattle. He is still reaping rewards for coaching Brett Farve. Stop acting like he is so far and away a great coach. Just a few years ago they were wondering if he should be fired. Didn't he have to relinguish power because he was sucking at that? Very good coach but he has so many injuries that it won't matter how good he is. With the Cowboys Parcells, who is still considered great, reined in his QB and didn't take advantage of Seattle's depleted secondary. He's so great but he should've kicked the FG on 3rd down so even if it failed he would've had another chance. His 3rd down try failed because Holgren challenged the play that the refs seem to want to give Dallas without measuring and giving them a generous spot of the ball.Seattle is there because a great coach didn't coach so well. The general consensus, now is that the BEARS will run all over Seattle. Stevie Wonder can see that. Alexander is slow and hurt. Not a good thing to be this Sunday. The only way he'll run for 100 yrds or more is the night before in his sleep. I stand by my earlier prediction. It won't be pretty for Seattle and I see all these Seattle fans drink more than just coffee. GO BEARS!!!

Bears 31 - seahawks 10
Rex with QB rating over 100 and one long TD pass...Berrian or Bradley. Hester with a cameo on offense. Also a pick by each Manning. Easy win. Even Marrioti will be silenced.

Seahawks 35, Bears 10.

MVP: Pete Hunter, the Seahawks' loan officer/cornerback, returns four Grossman picks for TDs. Even thought Hasselbeck is all over the place and Alexander runs like a guy with a hangover, Hunter supplies all the scoring we need. Watch out Chicago, we've just signed a mail room guy at receiver too, and a tech support guy at left guard!

Seahawks 35 Bears 7 MVP Hasselbeck 3 TD's 300 yards.

Hasselbeck has yet to have a break-out game. His playoff experience will be huge. Darryl Jackson, Bobby Engram and D. Branch will run precision routes and be open all day. The entire East Coast will see what a stud Lofa Tatupu is. Seahawks take off in Chicago!!!!

Seahawks in a nail-biter 20-17. Hasselbeck gets hot, depletes the rush with 3 step drops, leads them to an early score, throwing quick outs, and utilizing the rivived TE position. Bears get burned on several blitz packages, by none other than Deion Branch, and Bobby Engram in the slot. 1 hasselbeck int. leads to a TD, to keep it close, but a final 48 yd FG by Josh Brown leads the Rainy NW team to a win...Co-mvp's Branch/Stevens.

How can anyone say the Bears will win 48-0? Did they not watch the Bears against Green Bay? If they play like the did at Green Bay they're liable to lose 48-0.

Bears 23-13.
Urlacher MVP.
Bears play on short field thanx to defense. Rex is adequate which is all they need.

Bears win 19-17. MVP is mark anderson 2 sacks and forced fumble. Shades of Tommie Harris and Detroit game. Holmgren gets that look on his face again like he just ate some bad cheese curds, oh i mean, sushi.

I think the bears will win but, I wouldn't lay 8 1/2 points. Grossman needs to just be mistake free as I believe jones and benson will have big games. If they establish the run early the passing game should have a field day against a depleted seahawks secondary. Hasslebeck and alexander had sub-par games against he cowboys last week and were lucky to get the win and make no mistake about it alexander is hurt he averaged 2.9 yds last week in a poor showing and crawled off the field. Hasslebeck did not fair much better throwing 2 tds but also 2 pics. The bears should win this game 28-13. If they are not ready and pumped for this game and come away with a victory they will never win under smith.

Seattle wins! Bears watch Seattle defense dismantle overconfident ,ill prepared offense.Unusual weather grounds Chicago's nfc champion hopes. Hawks win 37-17

mvp:Muhamad Score:23-24 seahawks

BEARS WINNNNN!!!

The Bears will win 27 to 16 and finally get the respect they deserve... Rex will do fine and prove that he can focus on the task at hand. I am tired of the fare weather fans who want to jump and blame everything on the quarterback... this is a team game and every position has responsibility for the win or the loss... i.e. a passer rating can be lowered by a receiver dropping a pass or how many attempts are made (coach calls plays most of the time). What if a receive catches a ball and steps out of bounds right before the goal line, another touch down would increase the passer rating... so it isn't all on the quaterback. Rex will be the best quarterback this town has seen in a while, just wait and see...

Seahawks 24 Bears 13.

Bears have been overrated all season long. This loss will give Chicago football fans something to gripe about all off season. Hassleback MVP.

This is a tough one. T. Harris,M. Bown out-
Alexander in, and Grossmnan is where?
Bear 24, Seabags 17. This is difficult since I'm a life long Bears Fan now living in the Steel City for the last 7 years. I lose out on the pulse, but I think the Bears are poised to do well. And of course, Walter is watching over them!

Yes,Seahawk's secondary is banged up,but it's not like the Bears "aerial attack" is anything to worry about.Muhammad's good, but who's gonna get him the ball,Grossman?,Griese? rex....no comment.... hasselbeck is goin to S.C.H.O.O.L. bear's so called QB.... bears has no clue what offense means..... GO HAWKS...

Anyone who thinks the Seahawks are going to win must be on crack. The Seahawks only beat Dallas because Tony Romo is young and folded under the pressure and botches the hold on the most important play of his young career. If the Seahawks can only beat Dallas on a snafu, then the much better (at least defensively) Chicago Bears should maul them. The Bears won't do it with offense, but in a game where Chicago will only need 10 to 13 points to win, the Bears have just enough to do it. The Chicago coaching staff won't allow Grossman to blow the game. This game looks to be an ugly defensive battle, with a lot of running and very little offense. The MVP bid is a toss up between Vasher and Urlacher. If Vasher has a good special teams day, he'll get the honors, but with that ground attack of Seattle's, Urlacher's 15 tackles will be the deciding factor and help him be the MVP.

Rex will throw 3 picks and fumble twice. The Bears will get smoked because of it and the Defense will get blamed for the whole fiasco.

Defense is the name of the game in first half. Second half Rex explodes, thus MVP honors

Rex is inttercepted 3 times all from tipped passes, resulting in two touchdowns and a field goal. He is booed out of the game after fumbling a handoff, losing the ball to the loan officer at the Chicago 5 yard line. Seahawks win 45-10. MVP: Shawn Alexander with 2 touchdowns along with 133 rushing yards. Urlacher injured in the first half and unable to return.

I just want to know:after this game will the pessimists lighten up. If you are a Chicagoan who pick the BEARS to lose please don't bother to come back and say that even though they won they will lose to the Eagles/Saints. All those people from Seattle came onto this blog and predicted that their team would win. Even after they escaped with a dizzy win over Dallas. They believe in their team with Scotch tape holding them up. Guys who call themselves BEAR fans laid down for their team-waved the white flag only because they're negative people to begin with. After we win this game they'll just come back and cloud this victory. I wish the real believers can get an order of protection or something to keep those pesky haters at bay. Will the REAL BEARs fans please stand up? THAT SAID,GO BEARS!!!!

Hello Bear fans, why are you and the media so quick to pick the Bears and are looking past the Seahawks? I just looked at your record, nice-n-easy, and I am sure you are so willing to point out the stinker we had against you, at least we didn't get spamked by the Dolphins and Packers...Even good teams have bad days and injuries, this game will come down to a field goal and be much closer than you think!!!Seahawks 27-24

Urlacher MVP with 15 tackles (3 sacks, one for a safety)a forced fumble and an interception.

Let's face it fellow Bears fans, the Bears are the worst 13-3 team ever. Seahawks 24 - Bears 13. Rexy throws three picks while Alexander runs for a buck fifty. I guess we'll have to wait until next year and hope for a new QB.

Seahawks 23 Bears 17.

Sehawks have the most consistent unit of the year and are getting healthy everywhere, with exception of the cornerback position. Dieon Branch will have 80 yards recieing, Hasselback will have 220 yards pasing - 1 INT - 2 TD. Alexander has 90 yards rushing. Grossman stuggles despite the Bears fairly strong defense and having key turnovers but Grossman can't take advantage of the good field position and has 1 INT and 1 fumble.

MVP will be Julian Peterson with 3 sacks and heavy pressure on Grossman.

Sorry Bears maybe next year you can reward your GREAT defense with a good qaurterback.

Tank Johnson

Bears 24, Seahawks 3

The Seahawks score on their first possesion, and then not at all. Tank dominates the interior of their O-line, our D gets 4 turnovers, Rex has short fields all day.

Seahawks 23-20
MVP: Alexander finally shows up in a game that matters.
Bears: No pts off turnovers or special team returns.
NO pics, 2 fumbles for Grossman.

HAWKS 24--21 ON JOSH BROWNS LAST MINUTE KICK. OH WELL HAWKS AND EAGLES FOR THE TITLE

Bears 23 to Seattle's 10
Bears defense will get two turnovers. Special teams will make at least one big play. Brian Urhlacker and Mark Anderson will be co-MVP's

In the game we all hoped for last year, the Bears will prevail and quiet the critics with an impressive victory over the Seahawks. Grossman plays more and thinks less, leading the offense effectively enough to keep the Hawks’ D on its heels. The defensive unit plays a spirited and inspired game sacking Hasselback thrice and intercepting him once. Lance Briggs (the game’s MVP) keeps the tight end in check and records 13 tackles and .5 sacks. Rookie Mark Anderson makes Walter Jones remember his name by recording 1.5 sacks and registering 5 hurries. Devin Hester will continually give the offense short fields and the RB tandem of Jones and Benson will wear down the Seattle D. Offensively, Ron Turner will give Seattle a dose of its own medicine in running various spread plays with Muhammed, Berrian, Bradley and Davis all on the field at the same time. The play-action keeps the DB’s honest and allows Berrian to run uncovered down the middle of the field. Conversely, Seattle will have some success in the first half pounding Alexander up the middle. The Hawks will move the ball but won’t be able to punch it in. They’ll go 2 for 4 in the red zone with 2 touchdowns. They’ll add a couple of field goals leaving the game with a gilded score of 24-20.

In post game interviews reporters will ask Rex if he was better prepared for this game. He’ll coyly smile and answer, “Ask Brian Griese.”

William i think you are right on point. This is the time when our team needs us to support them not smack them when they have their back turned.Washington state hawker needs to lay off hasselback's jock and come back to reality with the bears are soft comment. How many games have your players missed due to injury, especially your so called skilled guys.Your team is the epitamy of soft.I watched your rb take a weak hit last week and need help off the field.Whats he gonna do bro when briggs or urlacher unleash all the pent up frustration of disrespect they have and knock his block off.(sorry i just watch rocky)This team of ours is built for jan. weather our running game and D and you guys are gonna be too busy complaining to the refa about the physicality of the hits cuz your team are the soft ones.

Bears O v. Seahawks D.
-- Grossman has 3 solid receivers. The Seahawks have 0 solid DB's. The Bears have a great O-Line, with Tait this time. The Seahawks have Wistrom. The Bears have Clark. Bears have Jones and Benson. Seahawks have Peterson and an overrated Tatupu.

And Rex killed them last time, he is excited about Florida, and he's due for a good game.

Bears O-line and Seahawks depleted secondary are the key, and the Bears get the slight Edge.
-------------------------
Saehawks O v. Bears D.

Hasselback was killed by the Bears D (w/ Harris and Brown). He has been awful all season. The Bears have a full secondary, and the Seahawks have a healthy, yet beat up receiving crew. The Bears have two future hall of famers (IMO) in Briggs and Urlacher, the Seahawks have a future hall of famer in Alexander, but he is by no means at full strength. (he was awful agaiinst an awful Allas Team, they have no D).
Not to mention their offensive line is horrible other than Walter Jones. The Bears have a Beast in A. Brown, and M. Anderson isn't too bad. Ogunleye is a wildcard to me, his ability depends on if he is at full strength. I. Scott is solid, but nothing special.
The Bears D gets the overwhelming edge over the Seahaws D.

Bears once again get a huge edge, despite the solidity of Josh Brown.

PREDICTION
Bears win 31-13. Jones and Benson will both have good games, along with Grossman and Berrian, and watch out for Bradley. Muhammad is nothing to sneeze at either, with his glue-like hands. MVP is Grossman as he throws 2 TD's in bad weather, over 200 yards. Maybe he will get one pick, but I doubt it, that Seahawks D is awful now, and it was pretty bad w/out all of the injuries.

As in life, you simply can't turn it on or off on short notice. we are who and what we are and so are the Bears. Turnovers...enough said. The "D" can't give up over 20 points like it has the last part of the season in addition to 4+ turnovers by the " O" and win the game. Seahawks 27...Bears 17.

Hawks 17-13 over da Bears. Rex will have one night he will not want to remember. Alexander will be the MVP of this game.

Hawks 17-13 over da Bears. Rex will have one day he will not want to remember. Alexander will be the MVP of this game.

Bears are favored by 9 in what could be a downfall of snow and one sloppy game...The Bear's running backs have done a great job at holding on to the ball and hopefully they do this tommorow...Just keep running the ball and they'll
tommorow...Hopefully they get the ball to Desmond Clark...Anything can happen, but we need the Defense to maintain Shaun Alexander and its a definite win...GO BEARS!!!

I'd say 16-10 Seahawks. The Bears won last game, but Alexander's presence should change things this time. In all fairness, I'm from Seattle, but definately not overconfident. The Hawks owe the Bears one, and poor weather will actually favor them. I expect Hasselback to shine as MVP.

Seahawks 35 Bears 17

In a reversal of fortune and not unlike when the Bears beat Carolina when it didn't matter but lost when it did, the Seahawks led by Matt Hasselback, Jerramy Stevens, Bobby Enghram and Maurice Morris run roughshod over a confused Bear defense. Although weak at cornerback the Seahawks bring just enough D to shut down Rex Grossman in the first half, a rusty, pressured and overreaching Brian Griese comes in in the second half and never finds his rythem with his recievers. The Bears score one touchdown off an early turnover and another meaningless touchdown at the end of the game with a field goal thrown in for good measure. Experience at Quarterback is the difference in this one and Hasselback is named game MVP. After the game Rex Grossman is quoted as saying, "I didn't bring my A game today, I looked for but couldn't find my B game, I loaned my C game to Steve McNair Yesterday and he never bothered to give it back, my D game I always keep in my back pocket so I had to resort to that, I'm so sorry that we lost, if only the defense had played better we could have won, I was also distracted by the Seahawks helmet logo, that is one scary looking bird."

Seahawks 24, Bears 10

Long time Bears fan here, but unfortunately the terrible weather will not prevent GROSS_MAN from throwing 2 picks and losing a fumble before LOVIE pulls him. GREISE should of started the last 3 games, but LOVIE'S dedication to Rex will be our down fall. I hope I am wrong, but I am not counting on it. GO Bears!
MVP: Jeramy Stevens

Seahawks 30. Bears 10. I would like to be wrong, but the bears plays bad on national TV.

BEARS-20 Seahawks-7
MVP-Thomas Jones

Bears run the ball down the throats of Seahawks..sets up big playaction pass to ice game

Bears 27, Seahawks 3

Grossman / Urlacher co-MVP's

Grossman shreds defense for 300+ yards and 2 TD's in an unbelievable performance.

Urlacher has 8 tackles, 1 pick and a sack where he blindsides Hasselback and knocks him out of the game.
Butkus sheds a tear of joy on the sidelines after the play.

Seahawks 21-17 over the Bears...
It's the Holmgren ex-Packers coach who had the Bears number for so many years and the lack of pass rush by the Bears that will be their undoing.
Hate to be negative because deep down inside I would like to see a re-match of the 1985 Super Bowl between New Encland and Chicago...just have a bad feeling about this game after watching Green Bay hand them a season ending humiliating, confidence killing defeat.

Bears 27 Seahawks 7. What were we all so worried about?? Rex was fine, Cedric Benson was named MVP and is now a household name. And how about that defensive clinic the Bears put on in the 2nd half? Next.

I think this game is going to be a rather dull watch. While the Seahawks secondary is lacking, I think Grossman will be unable to capitalize on it. He will wisely go short routes and depend heavily on controlling the clock with a strong running game. After the dust settles, it will be a Bears win, 17-10. The MVP will be Hester, who will provide excitement with an 85 yrd. TD return.

OCEANBIRDZ? I DON'T THINK BEARS HAVE PROBLEMS WITH BIRDS ... BEARS IN A ROMP

281-3

BEARS 24 SEAHAWKS 10 BEARS DEFENSE RISES TO OCCASION AND MUHAMMAD CATCHES TWO TD PASSES FOR MVP

Bears 30-17..i think Rex will show up today as well as the bears running game and their defense...it's offense vs. defense..and defense wins championships.

Seattle 24, Bears 10

We have an inferior head coach and an inferior quarterback.

If this happens, I would like to see Lovie go somewhere else next season (and he can take Turner and Rivera with him).

I think the Bears will do fine without having to use the secret weapon that there is no film for opponents to gameplan for. A steady diet of BENSON/JONES, and some EXTREME "D", ought to allow them to postpone using HESTER "as a receiver" until another game. I really don`t think there is a defense anywhere that could stop Muhammed/Berrian/Bradley/Hester(4 receiver set)on the field together. Certainly, the ragged secondary of Seattle can`t do it. Sheesh! Hester alone could "GIT R DONE"! Ya think????????????????????

Seahawks 24 Bears 17... Hasselbeck gets MVP with 2 TDs
and 1 pick. The Seattle D shows up in the 4th quarter with the game winning stop. Grossman plays just well enough to stay in the game but can't put together a winning drive in the 4th quarter.

The Bears will win in a low scoring affair. Final, Bears 15 Seahawks 7. MVP is Robbie "Good as" Gould. The Bears "D" will bounce back and both punters will be in the locker room icing down their legs after the game. The big announcement after the game will be that Lovie Smith signs a contract with the Bears that will make him the second lowest paid coach in the league. The ghost of George Halas is spotted in the locker room going through the wallets of unsuspecting Bears players as they take their showers.

Bears 27 Hawks 24

Grossman 1 fumble i pick
Jones 2 td
Gould 50 yd field goal in ot

After horrific first quarter Rivera suits up, he sees McMahon in stands and he suits up also. McMahon puts old uniform on upside down to make him #6. Rivera uses duck tape to be #57. After rusty 2nd qtr. McMahon throws 2 TD's to win 20-17. Lovie decides to call up several other 85 Bears to go to Superbowl.

Bears in the Super Bowl? HA Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha! Remember the feeling you had about the 85's? That's how NE is going to feel this year IF the BBBBears get there.

Saints 28
Bears 17

Bears will not be able to stop the run. Saints running backs will rush for close to 200 yards against this so called great defense. Urlacher spent most of the Seahawks game on his butt because he was taken out by fullbacks or tight-ends.

The Bears will be EMBEARASSED! HA HA HA

Roman responds: Who's your MVP?

Saints 41
Bears 14
The Saints will finish the Mission that LSU started. Sorry Bears Fans, maybe next year!
