This is a tough one. The Eastern Conference is pretty open, and I think the Bulls have a shot at making the NBA Finals. So the guess here is 54-28 regular season, and losing to Spurs in Finals.

If Peyton Manning hadn't put together another miraculous effort Sunday, Brian Urlacher's MVP candidacy would have sturdier legs. Still, he should be on the short list.
Anyone who's watched the Bears much knows Brian Urlacher isn't overrated, despite the Sports Illustrated survey of NFL players. I agree with Terrell Owens being the most overrated, at least this season. Who's on your list?
It's '06 vs. '85 again. The Singletary vs. Urlacher debate didn't really produce a winner. Let's see what you think about this matchup.
So much for any hangover from the near-defeat in Arizona two weeks ago. The Bears looked as good as ever today.
This will be the thread for you to talk about today's game. Get the comments in ASAP after the game and as usual we'll get several of the early ones in tomorrow's paper.
My first thought was pine tar. But it seemed too obvious.
Since comparing the '85 and '06 Bears has become the trend of the moment, let's do it position by position, starting with the middle linebacker.
In the past, losing Brown has made a huge impact on the Bears. Whether Brian Urlacher is the MVP or not, Brown is vital to this defense.
As Sun-Times baseball expert Chris De Luca points out, all of the talk about the Cubs getting Alex Rodriguez hinges on dealing the Cubs' only untradeable commodity: Carlos Zambrano.
Was the Bears' win a sign of a team destined for great things, or an omen of impending doom?
Did Lou Piniella's vast experience and World Series ring as manager make him the best choice? Or did he underachieve in Seattle with incredible talent and no World Series appearance and then fail in trying to turn around the Devil Rays?
Matt Leinart looked pretty good against the Bears in the preseason, which scared some of you. I kept saying the preseason doesn't mean anything.
There is no weak spot on the Bears right now. Some areas are stronger than others, but if they keep playing like this, they could do it. It's no longer too early to talk about.
This was as dominant a performance as I remember since '85, and that wasn't an awful Bills team.
You know the routine. Immediately after the game, get your posts in, and we'll pick the best 5 or 6 to put in the paper!
I admit being one of the skeptics who raised an eyebrow when some of you were talking Super Bowl for the Bears, but it doesn't seem so improbable now. Still a lot of football to be played, but this team looks to be getting better each week.
