Sox Win!!

What a great game.  Great pitching, clutch hitting, and brilliant managing made this contest a joy to watch.  Unfortunately, I didn't get to go out for the game as planned and have no big stories as far as any sort of temptation goes.

I had my smoothie in the morning, which consisted of 8oz of watermelon, 3oz of red grapes, a serving of whey protein and flax seeds, 1 1/2 cups of skim milk, and some ice blended.  Calories:  490.  For lunch I had 2 slices of deli turkey on some wheat bread with a little mustard and a banana.  451 Calories and pretty satisfying.  Dinner was mostocolli with ground beef, with some parmesan bread and butter.  990 Calories.  Well within my 2000 calorie limit.

I'm not much for pop/soda anymore.  In fact I drink nothing but iced tea, and have done so for about the last 15 years.  I was getting bad heartburn from pop and made the change.  Dave Grotto states this is a good thing, especially since I use Sweet n Low to flavor it.  The thing that surprised me is when Dave informed me I should be drinking 3 quarts of liquid daily.  I'm getting in about 2 quarts lately so I need to step that up some.

Lets hope the White Sox can continue to play well!

Go Sox!!
