Fire looks to play from start to finish

In what has become somewhat of a trend this season, the Fire gave up the first goal of an eventual 2-1 win over FC Dallas at Toyota Park Wednesday night.

While after the game head coach Frank Klopas praised his team's resiliency, he did acknowledge that it is something that he has discussed with his team.

"We talked about it before, our ability to come out and start playing from the beginning to the end and be more consistent throughout the game," Klopas said.

"As a group we never gave up even though when you give up a goal, the trend in this league is the trend is that the team that gives up the first goal generally does not win."

The Fire has given up the first goal in four of the last five games. They are 3-1-0 in those games.
