Fire goalkeeper Sean Johnson has been added to the U.S. U-23 Olympic Team, according to a club spokesman.
Johnson has missed parts of the clubs training camp on two separate stints training with U.S. soccer, the first with the U.S. National Team and most recently with the U-23 Team.
The U-23 Team has qualifying matches March 22 against Cuba, March 24 against Canada and March 26 against El Salvador.
"Definitely honored to be a part of that team. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity where you get to be a part of a team that's in a position to qualify for the Olympics. So it's huge for me in my career. I've always dreamed of it and now it's finally coming true."
