Josh Beckett - Red Sox
Vs. Yankees
W, 6 IP, 0 ER, 1 H, 8 K
Going back to the 2003 World Series, Beckett has been a Yankees killer. He did it again last night, silencing the offense with the second most runs scored in the AL.
Beckett started off slow, but he's back to his normal self now. His numbers across the board are solid, and he leads Boston in wins and strikeouts.

1B Justin Morneau - Twins
@ A's
4-5, 1 HR, 2 RBI, 2 R
With an MVP under his belt, Morneau has accomplished quite a lot already at age 28. The season he's having with Minnesota right now could be his best ever, though.
The highest OPS Morneau ever posted was .936 in 2006, the year he edged Jeter for MVP. So far, Morneau is sitting at 1.025, good for second in the AL.
