Players of the night

Hitting

RF Shin-Soo Choo - Indians
@ Tampa Bay
4-for-5, 1 HR, 3 RBI, 2 R

Choo's hot second half last season made him a trendy sleeper candidate in deep or AL-only leagues. So far, Choo has been every bit as good as his owners could have hoped for. His triple slash hitting line sits at .287/.414/.467, and he has even added six stolen bases.

Choo is owned in 82 percent of ESPN leagues. If he's still somehow available in your league, grab him. At just 26, it looks like Choo will be a healthy fantasy option for a long time. The guy knows how to hit.

Pitching

Matt Harrison - Rangers
Vs. Seattle
CG, 2 ER, 7 K

Harrison finished with a 9-3 record last year as a rookie, but the numbers didn't add up. He had an ERA over 5.2, and finished with 42 strikeouts to 31 walks. Most thought he would be in for a big decline this season, and that appeared to be the case before last night.

Harrison's performance last night probably says more about the Mariners offense than him. Seattle has scored the second fewest runs in the AL this year, trailing only the White Sox.
