As you may have heard, Matt and I finally got around to setting up our own fantasy league. We held our first ever fantasy baseball draft last month, and it was a lot of fun. Nothing like some quality smack talk to start off the year. In the days leading up to the start of the season, we'll be taking a quick look at each team in our league.
Next up is Trib pwns Sun-Times. Come behold the power of screen shots...

First pick: 1B Albert Pujols - Cardinals (2nd overall)
Best value: SP John Danks - White Sox (13th round, 158 overall)
As has been brought up on here before, TPS-T pulled off quite the coup in the league's first trade, dealing Pujols in exchange for Miguel Cabrera and Prince Fielder. It strengthened an already powerful lineup that is the favorite to lead the league in home runs and RBI, if nothing else. Because the trade left Justin Morneau without a spot, TPS-T is set to make its second trade, again with Thunderstruck. This time TPS-T will get Brian Roberts in exchange for Morneau. A risky deal, to be sure, but he had to something with his power surplus.
The pitching staff is young, but features lots of strikeout artists. Burnett, Vazquez, Volquez, and Greinke can rack up K's with the best of them. John Danks is one of the city's brightest young stars (third, if you ask me), and should contribute across the board.

Boom Miggy got one already. This guy's lineup is loaded... His pitchers may be his downfall, however....
