Players of the night

Hitting

1B Albert Pujols - Cardinals
Vs. Mets
3-for-4, 2 HR, 3 RBI, 4 R, 1 SB, 1 BB

Before A-Rod tarnished himself this winter, there was probably some debate over who the best hitter in the game was. Not any more. Pujols is off to a scorching start, leading the NL in homers and RBI, all while hitting a cool .345. In fantasy terms, he'll give you everything but steals.

Oh, and he reads my friend Daniel's blog! Probably!

Pitching

SP Chad Billingsley
@ Houston
7.1, 0 ER, 5 K, 3 H

Billingsley is off to an incredible start, which is really great, mostly because he's on my team. He leads the majors in wins, and is currently sporting an ERA right at 2 and a WHIP under .9. Not bad for a guy I grabbed with the 74th pick.
