Player of the Night
Dwight Howard, Orlando Magic
vs. Boston Celtics
24 points, 21 boards, 2 dimes, 4 blocks, 2 steals, 61% FG
In a showdown between the 2 and 3 seeds in the East, Dwight Howard led the Magic past the Celtics in a game that had all the makings of playoff basketball.
'Superman' had a double-double in the first quarter and finished with over 20 boards for the second time this month.
The big men of the NBA don't get the kind of love the perimeter players do, this much we know. Guards rule the league now, but Howard is doing his very best to keep the legend of a center who can dominate alive and well.
With averages of 21 ppg, 14 rpg, 3 bpg, it's no surprise that Howard is as valuable as a fantasy player as LeBron, Wade or Kobe. That's because you won't find production like his in those particular statistical categories anywhere else in the league.

42 points, 10 dimes, 3 boards
Mike Taylor, Los Angeles Clippers
vs. New York Knicks
35 points, 8 boards
LeBron James, Cleveland Cavaliers
vs. New Jersey Nets

Bust of the Night
Rajon Rondo, Boston Celtics
vs. Orlando Magic
9 points, 5 dimes, 4 boards, 4 TO
It was a night I'm sure Boston would like to soon forget and that most certainly includes Rondo. He never got it going and the offense looked out of sync from the word go.
Look for Rondo to bounce back against the Hawks tomorrow night, who just got lit up for 42 by fellow point guard Tony Parker.
