How about little old Kermit making his return to fantasy relevancy?
More to come after the jump...
Actually, Mike Bibby has been more relevant this season than perhaps ever before with a stable of fresh, young talent surrounding him on the Atlanta Hawks. What really jumps out to the casual observer is the 31 points he scored against the hapless Bulls. But what screams out loud to fantasy owners is the five steals he managed to come up with.
Bibby is known more for his presence on the court, experience and the ability to run an offense effectively while also finding opportunities for himself and his teammates to score. But as he's gotten older in the Association, Bibby has learned a thing or two on the defensive side of the ball that enables him to take advantage of the younger, inexperienced guards in the league.
Last night it was Derrick Rose and less than a month ago Bibby terrorized Oklahoma City Thunder rookie point guard Russell Westbrook (WHO SHOULD BE OWNED IN ALL LEAGUES) to the tune of three steals (four total).
So if he's on your squad, or your young point has an upcoming matchup against Bibby and the Hawks, it might be a good idea to consider playing someone else. Especially if your turnover numbers are too high as it is.
