The Best
Quarterbacks
Tony Romo - Cowboys
331 yards, 3 TD, 1 INT
Though none of the Holiday games were competitive, several offensive players put up huge numbers for fantasy owners. Romo led the bunch, which is good news for fantasy owners as the playoffs near. If you own Romo, you have at least a puncher's chance against any team. It feels like he could throw a bunch of touchdowns these next four weeks.
Jay Cutler - Broncos
357 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT
Maybe we should have seen that coming. The Jets are a solid team, but they've been receiving way too much hype ever since defeating the Patriots. Cutler and Denver certainly humbled New York on Sunday.
Running backs
Thomas Jones - Jets
138 yards, 2 TD
Most have attributed New York's success this season to good ole' #4, but Jones is quietly having the best season of his career. He's been on a tear the last four weeks, scoring six touchdowns and averaging 121 yards per game.
Chris Johnson - Titans
125 yards, 2 TD
I've certainly botched my fair share of predictions on this site, so let me bask in the glory of Johnson's Thanksgiving day performance for a second, since I did envision big things for him in that game and all.
Wide receivers
Mark Clayton - Ravens
5 recs, 164 yards, 1 TD
If you're down a receiver for the stretch run in fantasy right now, Clayton might be worth a look. He has broke plays over 50 yards in the each of the last two games, and even tossed a touchdown yesterday.
Bernard Berrian - Vikings
4 recs, 122 yards, 1 TD
I don't want to talk about this right now. If you do, go here.
The Bad
Peyton Manning - Colts
125 yards, 2 INT
Frank Gore - 49ers
66 yards, 1 FUM
Maybe Mike Singletary should consider some new motivation tactics...
