RB Brandon Jacobs - Giants
Injury: Knee
Status: "His MRI came back negative but his status for Sunday has not yet been determined."
After missing Week 12, Jacobs has played through a knee injury the last two weeks with little success. It seems unlikely that he would play this week in Dallas. The Giants have already clinched the division and have two pretty good backups in Derrick Ward and Ahmad Bradshaw.
RB Frank Gore - 49ers
Injury: Ankle
Status: "RB Frank Gore (left ankle) did not see practice time early in the week, and coach Mike Singletary said it would likely be a game-time decision whether he'll be available to play Sunday against the Dolphins."
If Gore can't go, look for DeShaun Foster to get the start in Miami. Even if he does play, Gore may not be a very good start anyways. He hasn't scored a rushing touchdown the last three weeks, and Miami is in a dog fight to get into the playoffs.
QB Matt Cassel - Patriots
Injury: Personal issues
Status: "He has left the team due to the death of his father. His status for Sunday has not yet been determined. It may help that the team is playing in Cassel's homestate of California."
There isn't too much to say here. If Cassel decides to play, the Raiders are very fantasy friendly.
