Giants vs. Redskins: Who do you start?

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)

Because of the short week we'll start our analysis of this week's games a little early.

We'll preview the rest of the games for you on Friday and you can expect a Start or Sit column tomorrow to help you make those tough roster decisions.

But whether you're ready or not, FOOTBALL STARTS TOMORROW and you better be ready because the fantasy season is about to kick into high gear.

Opening Night Matchup Analysis

Redskins at Giants, 7 p.m.

What a way to start the season.

Tons of fantasy implications with this tilt as the defending champion G-Men square off against the new-look 'Skins. Were Manning's impressive performances the real thing or did he just get hot at the right time? And how will Jason Campbell adapt to new head coach Jim Zorn's offensive scheme?

Who I like

Giants: WR Plaxico Burress (loves the spotlight), RB Brandon Jacobs (expect a TD) and QB Eli Manning.

Redskins: TE Chris Cooley, RB Clinton Portis, WR Santana Moss

Who I don't like

Giants: RB Ahmad Bradshaw (his time will come eventually), RB Derrick Ward (not enough touches), WR Amani Toomer, TE Kevin Boss

Redskins: QB Jason Campbell (mediocre start here at best), WR Antwaan Randle El, Redskins DEF

Shhhhh.....Sleepers

Giants: WR Steve Smith

Redskins: Ummmm......not much to like here but we'll go with RB Ladell Betts.
