Three Up

Kevin Slowey- Minnesota Twins
Vs. Milwaukee Brewers
Win: CG, 3 H, 0 R, 8 K

As detailed here, these Twins shouldn’t be this good. Even without Torri Hunter, Johan Santana, and Francisco Liriano, the Twins keep finding ways to win.

John Lackey- Anaheim Angels
Vs. LA Dodgers
Win: 8.2 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 9 K

Three hits allowed!? Jered Weaver is not impressed.

Edwin Encarnacion- Cincinnati Reds
Vs. Cleveland Indians
2-for-3, 1 HR, 3 RBI, 2 R, 2 BB

Good things happen when you don’t bunt.

One down

Carlos Guillen- Detroit Tigers
Vs. Colorado Rockies
0-for-4, 2 K

Games like this one are the reason Jim Leyland still smokes.

The Tigers won that game...

Olsen responds: I believe Ricky may have been too excited about the Sox sweep. We apologize for the mistake, the Tigers won 4-3.
