Good morning and welcome to the debut of The Fantasy Factor, your daily resource for fantasy information.

This little introductory post is intended to give you an idea of what to expect from our corner of the blog-o-sphere.

Ricky O'Donnell and Matthew Olsen are going to be giving you fresh content throughout the day intended to help you navigate the fantasy sports landscape. We'll take a look at last night's games and give you a rundown of the top performers and those who disappointed.

Around midday be on the lookout for a longer article that aims to take a look at trends throughout fantasy sports so that you can stay on top of the game. Topics will include players to keep an eye on, injury updates, minor league call-ups, player rankings and most importantly, our FANTASY MAILBAG.

Once a week we'll sort through YOUR emails and answer any and every fantasy sports related question you could possibly come up with. Want to know if you should make that trade, who to start in a pinch or who to start in general? Shoot us an email and we'll be happy to help out.

But along the way we're going to have some fun too because in all honesty, thinking about stats for too long makes our heads hurt.

So thanks for stopping by and make sure to check back throughout the day for updates!

Well let me say congrats to you Matt. I know this is what you wanted for a long time, and good luck to this blog page. Now the only thing left is for the cubs to win the series, and the ghosts of the billy goat can be fried. Again, good luck.
